I missed a call from this number, and when I returned the call the lady said "hello" five times as if she did not understand when I said it, and then asked me which program I would like to be enrolled in. I told her that she called me and I had no idea what she was talking about... she told me that I requested info on online education. I replied that I did not. She said that I must have applied for a job or something lately. NO JOKE... hasn't everyone? I said, yes, I have applied for jobs, but am enrolled in a Master's program, so why would I have requested educational information? This fortunately ended the call. I am careful to always opt out for special offers online. It's pathetic that they still call.

i applied for a customer service rep job and now im getting these calls.i remember before imputing my resume they jobs website wanted to know if i wanted to further my education. i cant believe they got my number errrr.

I also applied for a scholarship on FastWeb.. Gee thanks for the spammer calls...  Seriously thought this was a legit scholarship search/service..  I'll be removing myself from their list.

This number came up on my caller ID as "Verizon Wireless", meaning it was made from a cell phone, thus probably cannot be traced using reverse lookup..  I sent them repeated text messages to stop calling me.. If they can spam me, I can spam them right back :)

I too, applied for a customer service job and that's when the calls started. I thought I was applying for  CSR job last night then got all these spammy web pages trying to get me to "further my education" and I clicked NO NO NO to everything - yet these SOB's keep calling me.

I try to call this number but I keep getting error messages. It's really disturbing. They can call us but we can't call them.

Yes, as soon as you enter your info for a staffing agency(trying to find employment through any source:)your phone will ring! Even though I did not choose any of the on line school sources they listed they still called.

I received a call this morning from this number (561-394-1160)... They are a company selling continuing educational courses. They've either copied and pasted employment ads, or posted their own false employment ads on CareerBuilders.com, HotJobs.com, or some other website. Then when you apply to the job posting, they take your name and number then call you to try and sell you an on-line continuing educational course, so you can get a job like one of the jobs they've posted on-line. It's a big SCAM.... I just answered the phone when I saw it was a long distances call and told them they had the wrong number, then hung up. I've also blocked their emails or set their messages to go directly to my SPAM / Trash can.

Has called us several times.  Same thing - no one answers or leaves a message.  We too have some mortgage issues.  But have no idea who this is.

I called the 1888 number that Sophia left above. They told me I had signed up to receive educational information as most of you have said. I requested to opted out of this information and the calls. They said ok. So we'll see how that goes.

I just had 561-394-1160 call my cell number and there was no answer form them so i disconnected and tryed to call back and it says the number is invalid.

i just caled them to get opted out aftger applying for a job then these people called with no answer on the other side i called my fox4 problem solvers and let them know about this scam. i'll see these a**holes on the news!!!!!!!!!

I applied for a job and they keep calling me.  I just called the 888 number given above and asked them to remove me from their calling list. I also told them that I was on the donotcall.gov list and if they call again I will make sure they get fined.  They have not called since.

Just to clarify...I applied for a job I saw through Monster.com for a clerical position at a real estate company...I filled out all my personal info and resume and it asked if I was interested in "furthing my education".  I said no, but then I got spam mail from this "academic" company and frequent calls.  Sucks trying to look/apply for jobs and end up getting spammed.

I Also was applying for jobs online the day before I got this call. When applying online, they give you more offers after you complete your resume. Your information is automatically in the servey, so, even when you click on "not interested", the information still goes to tohe company. I called the number back and it said I reached an invalide number.

Just applied for a job through NES Staffing online. Form asked if I'd be interested in continuing my education. I said no because I have a masters. What can an online school do for me? Of course 40 mins Later I get a call from this number.

They called again today and when I answered I got a automated voice telling me to call them (obvious scam). I called the 18884937095 the voice rattled off and talked to a Brian who said he'd remove me. We'll see. *sigh*

The jobs he offers are fake. He posts them on craigslist. He is just collecting your data for low end colleges that try to recruit you. He is working for the academic advising center at 1 888 473-7095. It's just a scam.
Do what you want with the email and phone number.

Just called them back after they called me @ 6AM. Cursed out whoever picked up the phone (Jessie) and informed them that I am reporting them to the BBB. DO NOT APPLY for jobs from NES or SimplyHired. They are only spam artists. Pass the word around. Oh and FYI they definitely take your number off of HotJobs, CareerBuilder and Monster. You will be better off looking @ temp agencies or direct company hires. Good luck!

1 (800) 973-0379 kept getting calls from this number too at first.  Decided to call them back. When I call them back I heard music playing like I was being put on hold...then after a minute or two someone answers and said can I have your name and telephone number please.  LOL WTF!!!  I was just returning their call to see who they were.  So I tell the person...I don't know who you are or how you got my information.  I had a miss call from you and I just wanted to see what it was about.  She claims I filled out a form online to further my education....but I didn't.  I have been doing job searches though...she said it must be related to that.  She said she would fix her records.  Well throughout the day I kept getting calls from them and told them that it was getting really fu*king annoying. Please stop calling me. Well after 2 days they stopped...but then this new number keeps calling.  1 (888) 473-7095

If you guys are out there searching for a job...and fill out any kind of forms with your contact info on it...more than likely these pesty MF's will start calling you too...HEADS UP!!!

I hate these stupid calls. Don't they get it? My answers always going to be NOT INTERESTED.... How much money do they have to lose and how much of my time do they have to waste on this endeavor to understand that?

I went to apply for a job and filled out an application w/ NES Staffing immediately after sending the application I was called from this number and have received calls every day since. I called the number that a person listed on this site 1-888-473-7095. I told them I am on a do not call list and I do not wish to be contacted. They asked if I was searching for school to continue my education and I told them I wasn't so they removed me from their calling list. . . Or so they say, hopefully the calls stop.

I just received a call from this number. They said they were calling from the academic registration center..When I asked where he was calling from he hung up. april 16th 2009, 2:48 pm.

I just called TACC spoke to some one who told me that he would update his system 1888-473-7095  I hope this works....

Total scammers, who are now spamming up my personal email account which had never received a single spam email before now. Very frustrating to take advantage of people this way, in this job climate. Reprehensible.
