I RECIEVED SAME TEXT @ 6:00 AM BUT THE # WAS *15712258768 . SAME SCAM , DIFFERENT NUMBER.

I also received a text to receive a free $1000 wal-mart gift card, as well from from a different number that said the same thing the other day! I haven't put my phone number on anything recently other than official things that required it (ie change of address form) so I don't know why I am suddenly receiving these texts.

I also received a SPAM text message from 571-216-4565 at midnight. The text message states: "You have just won $1000 Walmart Gift Card! To claim go to http://prize-patrol.net/walmart and enter GIFT.
I did not enroll in anything like this. I went to the website and typed in several fake names and made of codes to enter to see if the different things will all lead to the same outcome and they did. Once this occued, it was evident that this was SPAM.
When I called that number back, it said " The person you have reaches has not set up their voicemail box services." So, I replied via SMS "SPAM! STOP!"

Likewise, got a text message from from (571 216-4565 for a $1000 gift card from Walmart. Considering there are already many "$1000 Gift Card Winners" all over the internet, and it's asking me to go to prize-patrol.net/walmart, I do believe scam.
Yeesh, random texts from people when I don't give out my number.

I got a text message from (571) 216-4565 informing me that I won $1000 gift card from Walmart. I was asked to go to http://prize-patrol.net/walmart and enter GIFT. I did not enter any Walmart contest and I did not provide my cell number to Walmart. This is obviously a scam. Be warned.

I received text message from this number about midnight, when my phone was turned off. The calling business identified themselves as prize-patrol.net.
The message stated I won a $1,000 Wal Mart gift card.
I would think this is a spam text message, due to the time and contents of the message. My number is a mobile number, that I never gave to any person or business. // Charlamagne
