Now that I've found this site again, I went back and looked at other numbers (some say ADA, some most say "unavailable" on CID)--240 210 7102, 434 878 9983, 410 774 8230, 571 261 0106, and 301 223 0109. They never leave a message, and just fill up CID with useless numbers.

Ada with this number calls at least 4 times a day. How can we stop these calls? and can we
report them to someone as this really is harrassment.

Been at work less than 3 hours, have already received 3 calls from ADA.
I support their mission but NOT when it involves guerrilla telemarketing tactics. I work at a small construction company. Their calls interrupt our customer calls. I do NOT appreciate this!
They have called from a different phone number each time.
Death to ALL telemarketers. 2012-06-27 17:11:42 Unknown
There was a listing on the caller ID at 8:14AM today with this number and the caller listed as ADA. About 2 hours later the phone rang again. I let the fax console on the computer answer it. I strongly beleive that death is a suitable punishment for telemarketers. The phone rang last night at 8:49 PM from 240-210-7102, also from ADA. I did not even get up to answer, and they did not leave a message. Attention morons, if you'd like to speak to someone, be intelligetn and professionla enough to leave a detailed message as to why you are invading our privacy. Otherwise go step in front of the next cross town bus.

called two mornings in a row and hung up after giving them ample opportunity to "sell me something"
Kathy 2012-06-27 13:28:40 Unknown
Please quit calling!

What are the other 5 numbers so I can opt out on all 5 other ones. My phone shows ADA so I know it's them but I'm not sure of the other numbers or if I'm getting those calls.

These calls come from different numbers sometime several times a day. They are from the American Diabetes Association. I will never donate that organization again. This is just ridiculous.
larry 2012-06-21 14:57:46 Unknown
I have been receiving this call daily for at least 2 weeks now. Some days they call twice; one day it was 3 times. Never an answer. If a message is left on my machine, it contains nothing either--just empty air. If this is the American Diabetes Association, as a diabetic who has had dealing with them previously, I am appalled.
missy 2012-06-15 22:41:45 Unknown
I too have had the same calls! needs to stop! this is "America"
Tom Russell 2011-08-20 14:15:04 Unknown
It is NOT the ADA - and that's according to the ADA! You are being scammed. What reputable charity calls people at 4:30 am or repeatedly calls to the point of harassment?
K 2011-08-11 13:52:49 Unknown
I tried calling back the number on my caller ID, and also got the message offering me the option to remove my number from their database. Trouble is, I entered my phone number and when the computer read it back to me, it was a different number altogether! I tried entering my number three times and it got it wrong every time! The computer phone system can't recognize what I am entering on my phone!?! Maybe I'll try again on a different phone.

My home phone has received daily calls from this number for over two months. It is the most annoying thing I've ever experienced and rises to the level of harassment in my view. I thought ADA stood for American Diabetes Association but could not imagine this organization using such tactics. Guess I overestimated them. They have lost me as a prospective donor and I will not forget.

I too got a call from this number and there was no message left on my machine . When I dialed the number back it was answered as A.D.A. (American Diabetes Assoc.) . After listening to the entire (very short) message I was given the option to opt out of any future calls from the A.D.A.I choose that option . Hope this helps .

This company call my number 2 x a day. I mean every day they call my number. What can I do ?

If you have caller ID, but a phone which does not have a call block feature, keep a small notepad with the number the call comes from and what caller ID is listed as.
DO NOT use their opt-our feature! When you do, you are confirming to the telemarketer calling you, they have reached a valid working phone number - and when you give them your number, they record it and then they add it to a list of VALID phone numbers, which they then turn around and sell to other telemarketers!! And they you get more calls.
The best way to eliminate a lot of these calls, is to have a phone with call block features on it. No, I won't mention any brands, but most of the new ones today offer it.
I get far fewer calls by blocking them; they call about 2 more times and I never get another call from that number. Eventually, they do not call any more - and I have no idea what they hear on the other end when my phone blocks their number - it rings once, called ID captures the number and the screen reads "Call blocked - ###-###-#### I LOVE IT!

I do not support ADA because they hired this telemarketer. Harrassment is not the approach. I have a friend with diabetes, but your donations are much better spent sending ADA a check directly. Robo Calls should be outlawed.

Who uses this phone number? How can I block it?
m.day 2011-07-12 17:02:24 Unknown
these people call all day and at 9.00pm they are annoying.
Sandy 2011-07-07 18:03:44 Unknown
I get these calls several times a day from different numbers, but caller ID says "ADA". They never leave a message. This is very annoying!

Continue to get calls from this number without leaving a message all hours of the day and night. So angry. So annoying and bothersom. Tired of being harassed.
Flosssie 2011-06-25 17:47:58 Unknown
I get repeated calls from ADA (Amer. Diabetes Assoc.);
I'm soooo tired of it!
Sammy262 2011-06-25 14:22:17 Unknown
ADA may be Allen Daniels Associates, a debt collection agency. Google it and check them out.
Ann Davis 2011-06-23 15:30:27 Unknown
This is a Diabetes organization informing me that they had just realized I had been diagnosed with diabetes by my doctor. I DO NOT nor HAVE NOT been diagnosed having diabetes, so tried to explain this and they made other excuses, but insisted they were legit. Any doctor that I have would NOT disclose my medical history to someone that would just up and phone me .
JimboCo 2011-06-18 20:36:03 Unknown
No way, never, I will not donate to anyone who distrubs me at home with unwanted calls.
William Frasco 2011-06-18 15:47:21 Unknown
These people call at least twice a day and use different PHONE NUMBERS
HoldthePhone 2011-06-18 15:14:35 Unknown
Getting pounded by these people. it borders on harassment.
Dr. Jan Kwasniewski of Poland cures 80% of his diabetic patients through diet alone. He has taken people who were in the hospital, days from limb amputations, and completely cured them of diabetes and saved their limbs.
In America, if you are diagnosed with diabetes, you are going on drugs for the rest of your life. If you cure diabetes, Big Pharma is out $billions.
Look at the ADA diet. It is a joke for anyone who is suffering from insulin resistance. A lot of these medical charities do nothing more than perpetuate bad science/medicine. Curing people is not profitable.
