This company calls at least four times a week.  Its annoying.

When I answered they hung up, so I called back and got a recording about making long distance calls anywhere using Magic Jack, then referring me to the website to purchase.

I received a call from this number and did not answer. I then called them back, and got a recording promoting MAGIC JACK free phone calls. They are now on my blocked list of numbers--it is so annoying. Hope this helps.

Politicians and pollsters are are exempt from the Do Not Call List law.  But you are still allowed to hang up on them.

Got a call today from them at 7:30 p.m. asking for me by name. Turned out to be a Democrat survey on "Voter Attitudes" to which I chose not to participate. Explained we are on the "Do Not Call List" and the young woman said they were exempted. She was fairly nice until I declined to participate in the survey, then she just hung up.

I've got an entire industry ready to call you.  I'd watch it.

On 06/11/14   A caller wanted to speak to me, introduced herself and stated she was conducting a survey about political opinions.  She said " I want to AXE you some questions.  Are you registered to vote?"   I informed her I did not answer questions over the telephone, but she could send me the survey in the mail, and I might complete it.  She did not identify the company or entity for whom she was calling, but her employer should have ascertained her ability to use words properly.  These calls are annoying, intrusive and unwelcome.  We are on the Do Not Call list, but apparently these "jokers" do not respect that program.

These people, while not directly employed by Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell are doing work on behalf of their candidacies for the Presidency and Senate.  Their mission, after the somewhat innocuous first call, is to begin to initiate a series of call to spread a message with misinformation, misinterpretation and outright lies about their own preferred candidates and those opposing their candidates and they are using taxpayer funds to do so.  

These people and those that employ, use and associate with them are opposed to democracy, interested only in having power over how we all think and act and somehow end up as very wealthy without ever really working or creating a single product or job.

months ago i got a call blocker. less than $50 & it blocks up to 1500 numbers. yes, 1500! if the number calls back after i blacklist it, they may ring thru once, then it gets disconnected. eventually the caller goes away. i'm happy. i suggest you all get one.

the DNC list is a joke. maybe our congress could fix that instead of investigating Bengazi again, or trying to vote out the ACA. ya know, something useful to us taxpayers.

Received a call from this number and did not answer. Judging from the other callers, it obviously is a nuisance call.

I got a call today and the caller ID displayed this number, but I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. Called back and got an automated response saying it was an unassigned Magic Jack number.

The calls may or may not actually be coming from this number, as it is pretty much trivial to spoof caller ID. It's a real problem, as some people actually use Caller ID spoofing to "SWAT" people. If you haven't heard of it, it's when a person calls 911 with spoofed caller id proclaiming to have committed a murder or other heinous act in their home, sometimes adding that they're barricaded in and won't come out without a fight, or some other aggravating circumstance. The police show up at the address associated with the number and the proverbial goat-f@#k ensues.

We definitely need improvements to the Caller ID systems so that such spoofing is not possible. We also need much tougher restrictions on telemarketing. Not one of these a-holes has ever offered to let me call them at their home, during their dinner, to discuss whatever it is they interrupted my dinner for.

This number has called every day for the last month. Its always a person who has very bad english (not their native tongue) Have asked them not to call have asked them to put me on the do not call list and they still call

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

and you can't tell them to quit calling.

Got this call amongst a few others this morning...I just put the Blow Horn Siren to the phone....seems that those numbers stop calling here! One day...each of these Cretins will be called to their eternal reward...Lord...can you take them all tonight???

This number keeps calling all hours of the day and night, and hanging up without saying a word.  THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!!!  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  SO QUIT CALLING ME!!!!!!!

However, as ROT, it is still recommended to not answer numbers you do not recognize, do not call back, do not press any number.  All those actions do is verify they have a live number.

NEVER call them back!!!  If the FCC ever actually gets any kind of funding to enforce the Do Not Call list, and starts to do so, one of the "Get Out of Jail Free" cards the marketer has is if they can show a "business relationship" with the person that they called.  All they need...is for YOU TO CALL THEM BACK.  They show their received call log, with YOUR phone number on it, and the FCC throws the complaint out, and likely discards anything else you've filed.
Opt-out is a lie!  They take you off list A, to abide by the rule.  Then, as a "live" phone number, add you to lists B thru Z.  They then sell B-Y to other marketers, and keep right on calling you off list Z (now renamed "A").  Spam emailers operate the same way.  *ANY* response they get from you is proof that you got their call/email, and opens you up to way more of the same.

Clearly, you haven't noticed well over 75% of political bumper stickers are for left-wing causes and/or candidates.
