NCO financial is a collection agency for capial one credit cards. Their other phone number is 1-866-251-0699. When i called them back, the first thing they did was ask me for my credit card number. I told them there was no way in hell i was giving out my credit card number to some random stranger who called me, and she hung up.

Called my cell 12:45 in the afternoon and hung up.

Called my cell on June 9 at 1025 and hung up on answer

I've received 2 calls from the 571-431-1948 already today 7/15/09

These morons called my number 8 times yesterday, never once leaving a message or being on the phone when answered.  Today they have called 3 times already, same thing.  This is assault by technology, denial of service attack by automated dialer.  Somebody should be going to jail for this crap.

I've received 1 call from the 571-431-1948 already today 8/7/09.  They ask my for Nelida Yambo.  I don't know what king companie is that and for what they has my phone number.

They call 5 times a day

I received this call this morning at 10:48am from NCO.I don't know who it is & will not answer calls from this number!!!

Constantly calling and never leave a message or they hang up when answered.  Wasting my time and minutes during all ours of the day and night.

This number calls me all the time, I have never answered it because I get so many bogus calls to my cell lately and I'm tired of wasting my minutes! I do have a CapitalOne credit card but my balance is <$500 and I make good regular pymts on it so I don't get it. Must be a scam.

I am sick and tired of this company calling. We are fortunate and have no debt...so why are they calling all the time. They never answer ...only a message saying all operators are busy.

Call every day of week over and over.  Does not leave message.  Will not stop calling.

they keep calling over and over and over. said they were looking for a name that wasn't us, then when I told them that person wasn't at this number and to quit calling he got rude withe me! then, he had the nerve to call back again! totally a scam, they are trying to pressure you into something.

This is for "Tired of it" above....and I would also encourage the rest of you to do this as well...I suspected Capital One was behind it and now I'm sure...they keep calling even though I made arrangements to bring my accounts current.

I already was 'removed from their list' twice.  It did nothing.  I had to *69 to get the phone number because it was a call-hang-up.  Last two times, it was people I never heard of.

This third time, they asked for my credit card right off the bat!  When I explained that I've never had a credit card, house or car, they told me MY OWN NAME!

This is going WAY too far!  It's to the point of stalker-creepy and the cops need to be called to put an end to it.

Got a call yesterday and then a message from 571-431-1948, it was was completely garbled, almost sounded like a digital signal. It was also made to my cell phone which I never give out, except to close friends and family.

I called them and gave my phone number.  They where trying to reach someone who's name I've never even heard of.  Good luck getting a reply from anyone with an inaudible message like that.  They were cooperative though and said would remove my number.

This number keeps calling several times a day, leaves no message.   What is their intention and how do I put a STOP to it?

No one in my house has anything to do with ChittyBank, so why they're calling me is beyond me.  No one ever on the other end of the phone, just air.  Call at all hours.

I just called 571-431-1948 after reading these posts.  Told them to STOP HARASSING ME and to Google thier own number to see what I'm talking about NEVER LEAVING A MESSAGE when you don't answer and HANGING UP when you DO.  Freaks.  Then he asks me for my number that they are calling... "yeah right" click.

This is NCO also? Hmm, they use a variety of numbers, too. But as with all of the other numbers that they attempt to use, I don't answer them. Don't know who they are, what they want, or why they even bother. Will these people ever get it? Hey, NCO, we know you're reading this so how about I help you with the answer: No, y'all will never get it!

Could hear them hang up after I answered.  Time:  8:45 AM

I don't want to waste my time and minutes and battery on a number I don't know who it is and they never leave a message

Please quit calling this number for someone that I don't even know.
