Just got a call from (573) 472-5899 he left a message with MW 601 claim number Ive called back and it just keeps on ringing

Got call from 573-472-5899 also. Tried to return cal, no answer. Imagine that.

I am a student at SEMO, (yes, we have a university and a community college here)so when I read a comment about this number possibly being from SEMO, I figured it made sense; howver, I called their published number, and they are not familiar with the 5899 number.  When I first called the 5899 back, it was busy for five minutes. After that, like everyone else, it just kept ringing.

Next time, I'll answer it and see what happens ;)

Received call asking for someone specific (IT Manager)... person they asked for was not IT manager.  Asked to take a message and then they asked for the person in charge of our IT Department. I can't forward calls without an actual contact name, so they thanked me and said goodbye.  Solicitor call most likely.

Over calls from this # once or twice a day for several says, then for a while, nothing. No machine, no answer upon call back.  In Ohio now, but went to semo (Cape Girardeau) and worked in Sikeston several years ago. No idea who it could be though.

I just had a missed call from this number as well. Called it back and it rang. No machine ever picked up. Weird.

It is SEMO University Alumni Assoc calling to get you to donate money.  I figure since I'm still paying my student loans, they can take a hike.  I've asked them over and over to remove me from their distro but they never do.

There are two colleges in Sikeston: SEMO and Three Rivers

I get a call from this number 24/7. I answer and noone says anything. All I hear is breathing and laughing. If it don't stop I will call the cops on them and Im serious too.

I got a call fromt his # yesterday at 2:30 called it back no answer and they did not leave a message I was curious why the state of MO would have been calling my home.

This number appeared on my cell as unknown I don't anyone at this # I would suggest they not call again.

I found this missed call on my cell phone at 6:23 p.m. 2/24/09.  No message, no voicemail.  Like the rest, I called back, rang and rang, no one answered.  I don't know this number at all!

Calls 2-3 times a week after business hours. Hangs up when you answer and if you call back no answer. I tricked him last time and didnt say hello. I hear background noise for a minute before he hung up. Research on this number online reveals that its a prank caller that has nothing better to do. This person has been calling me for about 8 months!!!! I have it stored as "dont answer mo". This is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

It is SEMO University Alumni Association.  Once they get your number they will call every four to six months looking for donations.

It's someone from Southeast Missouri State requesting updated alumni info and donations. I just requested my transcripts, which is how they got my number.

I hade this number on my phone bill and didnt know who it was and my wife thought i was lie to her about it if someone knows something more on this let us know

I received the call around 8 tonight and was unavailable to take the call.  There was no voicemail left, so I tried calling it back about 20 minutes later.  It just rang and no one picked up.  I tried doing a couple of those reverse phone number lookups, but neither one revealed any information.  The only info it gave under "Name" of the caller was "ST MO".  I wish I would have looked up this website before spending a few bucks to figure out who was calling.  Needless to say, I didn't find out any pertinent information.

It is a generic number that shows on caller id from state offices.  All state numbers are routed thru Sikeston.  It could be the university, or a state office trying to reach you -- or someone who used to have your number.  Calling it back does no good because it actually does not go to a specific office.

I answered thinking it was family or friends.  It is representative with Southeast Missouri State University wanting to update your alumni information and ask for a donation towards a scholarship.

Did some checking on this number that called me twice. It was a member of my family calling from their work line. It is a sexual/domestic assault rehabilitation facility for the offenders. Hope this helps!

I get this number all the time I have never answered it since I do not know who they are.  I live in missouri maybe I should take a small drive down to see them!
