I am trying to sell a ring on Craigslist and this number texts me, talking bout how he/she will pay me $20 extra to hold it and he/she will pay me cashier's check. I told the person I am accepting cash only. Pretty sure this number is that of a scammer.

I corresponded with the guy to try to get as much info as I could on him, didnt get much. I forwarded our correspondence to my local Police and the Police in Columbia, MO. (where the cell phone number is registered) wish this person would quit being a do***ebag and learn to be a better person.

same here. they tried buying jewlery.but be smart and call the bankif you receive a check to varify.thats what i did prior to cashing itand the bank teller said it was a fraud. to whoever it came from get a real job and stop trying to steal from hard working people

This number keeps trying to by jewelry from me and wants to pay with check, paypal or cashiers check he will request your name number and bank account info please be aware its a scam.
