Just received this call and my father answered and the caller said they were from Fairleigh Dickinson and they wanted to congratulate him for his 50th anniversary. Complete Scam.

I got a missed call from this number but I don't know anyone from Rochester, NY. I called back but no one picks up and the phone ring off the hook. This has to be a scam. If it were a legitimate company there would be a recording or a greeting.

I first received a call from unavailable ID. Nobody was there. 2 minutes later I received a call from Nigeria & ignored it.  What's the story?

Got a call from this number.  They asked for a "Mr. <garbled version of my wife's name>".  I asked "who's calling please?".  The guy said "I'm sorry" and hung up fast.  That is not the behavior of a legitimate business of any sort.  I would be very very wary of anyone calling from that number asking you for money -- sounds like a scammer to me.

I suspect it is a call from a hospital center.  I received a call recently concerning a survey (and it would turn into an appeal for a donation) for a local hospital (Hudson Valley Hospital) but I could not finish the original conversation at that time since I was at work.  I believe this is the same organization from the number that has been bombarding ever since (calling 2-3 times a day). Ugh!

Its Virtua Hospital calling for a donation, over and over and over again... Enough already!   Could be a possible call center for many hospitals though, but anywho, now you know.

I got a call from this number, 585 295 0717 at around 720 pm on April 28th, 2009. I was surprised to see it was a Rochester number, as the only people I know from New York State are from the city. I called back several times, but no one answered. Because I was in the middle of something I didnt feel like stopping when the number called, I'm going to have a computer call bomb the number for a couple of days and see if it gets shut off.

I got a call twice form this number in the past week. My caller ID came up with this listing it as Rochester, NY so I called it back but the phone just kept ringing and no voicemail or answering machine. I'm guessing this is some kind of business calling me but I'm not sure.

Received call from this number in the evening...was confused who it could be...did a Google search, and ended up here...figure it must be some scam caller, now that I've read these postings.

this number is repeatedly calling me and no one leaves a message.  I do not recognize the number.  The name field shows up on call id as 585-295-0717 with the same phone number under it. I'd like to know if it is a sales call.
