I just got a call from someone who identified himself as Ben Casper - said he was working at our local county, in the mayor's office. He named the mayor, said he was authorized to reach out to all their contacts and had a letter from the mayor.  Some sort of video/advertising nonsense. Took me three tries to get him to tell me the name of his actual company - he kept talking in circles, trying to make it sound like he was working at Lexington Co and directly for the mayor - I could hear talking in the background like it was telemarketers.  I had to ask him flat out if he worked for the county, and he finally said no, he worked for CGI.  Caller ID said (585) 427-0020, CGI, DUH!!!!!. Slimey bast#$d. I told him that we've gotten calls like his before, and that we were not interested, and hung up. He called me right back, and said that I've never gotten a call from them before, that he didn't want me to think he was some kind of fly by night salesperson, that they were legitimate, and I didn't need to hang up on him, it wasn't like that, and they had a letter from the mayor. But I told him I said I HAVE had calls LIKE this before, that if he was so legit, why did it take such a runaround for him to tell me his actual company name, and again I said we were not interested, and I hung up again. Get a clue, your sales tactics don't work, waste my time, and piss me off!!!!

Just called my office and wanted to speak to someone that is no longer at our company, I was given the call and asked if it was something specific that they needed with this person. She said, does people call your office for no reason at all??? RUDE!! the person she asked for was dead. Really Lady from NY you are a BI**H.

Agreed. I'm a current employee, a woman, and the sexual harassment is rampid-mostly from the CEO. I've been experiencing it from the day I was hired til just before the holidays. If he isn't hitting on the females and offering a better life for them, he is screaming through the floors or over the loud speaker. Yes, he's generous company-wide with rewards, but will take it back, punish, and hold it over your head.  The push-pull twisted dynamic of control is sickening and leaves many overly stressed day in/out. Not worth it.

Read this , clearly Ignorance justified

On September 12, 2013 we received a call from James Wehrle of CGI COMMUNICATIONS who said he was working in conjunction with our City Officials and the Mayor to produce a video for the city's website.  He further stated the Mayor requested he speak to the President to gather info on the City and it's history.  Mr. Wehrle left a direct line phone number for a return call to 585-880-7297.  
Our business has been in existence since 1947 and has a working relationship with the City's Mayor, thus we believed the call to be very legitimate.   A telephone conference call and interview was set for the following week with Henry O'Hara.  All officers arranged their schedules for this "meeting" and soon learned that CGI was actually looking for sponsors/advertisers at the cost of $5000.  We were never advised of this purpose!  As mentioned, it was thought that our input in helping to produce the video was all that was to transpire.  
We obtained this phone number (585-427-0020) when Mr. O'Hara called in for the Conference Call.  Sure wish we had it before setting everything up for the Corporation Officers.  It's mind-boggling to see seven pages of input from so many people!

My best advice ..... BEWARE OF TELEMARKETERS!!!!!!!

This showed up on Caller ID as Roch Raiders.  A Google search shows number is for CGI Communications in Rochester, NY.  The girl who called wanted to know a good time to call when I asked her to leave a message so I repeated myself.  She said no message and she is never at her desk.  Well how can you be calling from a landline if you are never at your desk?  TELEMARKETER!

So please stop calling once you get a message that we are not interested.  You are just wasting your time and money on making junk calls.  There are other ways to market your own services - let alone pretending to  help others market theirs.

Working as a telemarketer straight out of college? That degree's really paying off, huh? LOL!

Screwing over your customers and employees with barely livable wages and a garbage overpriced relocation film doesn't generally fall within the guidelines of doing right...by anyone. This "letter" Bob speaks of is usually typed by some administrative assistant of a friend of someone who may or may not work for these alleged municipalities and cities....just enough to somewhat look credible to those they robo dial but not enough to be considered fraudulent in courts.
