Well she has changed her name, it is now Kaitlin Thomas. Boy let me tell you I have talked to my share of arrogant people but she is way up there ! I do pray that she calls me one more time.

I received a treatining txt message from this number the evening of March 17. Said " I am watching you" with a buch of profanity symbols. Then next day March 18 they called my phone and work and both times my office and myself requested that they remove these numbers from thier list. Then a MS Reed calls again shouting and making illegal treats. I saved the text for the police and I have the call at my office recored on my phone. I have filed a formal complaint against this number and this MS Reed. I have a paid receipt for the bill in question, however they will not listen to a word you tell them. And no I am not EVER, NEVER giving them my SS# on the telephone to a complete stranger. All red signs of a scam or itenity theft artist. I have had my Idenity already stolen, I will not let it happen again to these folks who only know how to steele. I will pray that GOD will forgive this MS. Reed, I have already forgiven her but she needs to do time.

i had a bill that i thought i paid. they told me there would be a warrent out for my arrest and a police officer would come to my house if i didnt pay it back. i asked them if i found the paper work if they would refund the money. these scammers took money on a bill i already paid and never refunded my money. they scared me half to death and forced me to pay this. i was so scared. i contacted my bank told them about this fraudulant company and the funds were put back into my account asap. please dont pay these scammers.

call your bank and charge back every payment ever made to this company. they are a scam. the police has a recording of them threatening me. GET YOUR MONEY BACK NOW

Do not tell them how much you owe, make them tell you! Do not give them any personal information such as social security number, phone number or address. Make them send you something in writing! Anyone who has paid this company is instructed to make contact with your bank and reverse all payments that were made to them and block that company from any future transactions. To verify who you should be paying on any debt, contact the original creditor and they will get you back to the place that payment needs to be made at.

At 7:30 AM today, Tuesday, Oct.15th, I got a voicemail  saying a complaint had been field against my social security number and I or my legal represented had to call back.
Also that I am due for "processing" on Oct. 21st.
She said nothing about a debt.
Her name was "Kaitlyn Reed". She said a firm in beginning, but all I could catch was last part " ...Floyd." She was talking very fast.
It scares me cause someone took several of my laptops, wanting to "work on them & speed them up for free" but never returned them..it's been 11/2 years ago & he vanished. He was a friend of a friend.
Has anyone gotten any of this detailed talk about a date you'll be processed & to get an attorney?
I never heard of a complaint being filed against your social security number?
It woke me up & I'm scared.
Please help..

This number 585-507-4772 is a complete FRAUD to steal your info!! If you call them back, BLOCK your number!!  Report them to www.donotcall.gov and if you can block their number , DO IT!!

A woman identifying herself as Kaitlin Reed used the name NRG and associates Threatened criminal action if a debt was not paid.

This person called my mother at home and told her that I needed to get in touch with her within 48 hours and that a claim has been  filed against me, no reference as to who the company is or anything , just a voice mail from a katlyn reed , what's funny is is that I have had my same cell phone number for several years now and they have never contacted me first ...sounds like debt collector or fraud

ID Turning Point R.  Said complaint filed against my name and SSN.  Instructed to call back w/n 48 hours.

This number called and the ID on the phone said "Turning Point R".   Male voice that was half way through his speech stating he was required by law to state this is a debt collection call.  No identification as to the company was mentioned or a name.  Also getting call from Comenity 6147296040 and three numbers close to it.  No message left.  Their call comes just seconds after the Turning Point call.

I will call the 4772 number a debt collector for now.  Just started today at 1200 noon.

My sister got the same message like you did but for me to call her.  I phoned her back and just rec'd an email.  Now I'm scared.  Wondering who I can contact.  Have you heard anymore from her?

I have no idea who this person is but they called my sister's house stating that she was an atty. and that i gave her my sister's phone number which was a total lie.  I have never done such a thing.  Can you please help me in this matter.  I phoned the phone number and all i got was a voice mail stating that this is Katlyn Reed please leave a message.  I have talked to plenty of lawyers in the past and if she was an atty. it would state this is the office of Atty. such and such and it does not say that at all.  The phone number came up as a New York number.

I received a message from this number with the same voice message threatening legal action, but they had the wrong name. I called them back and asked where they got my number. They said the person they were attempting to call had given the number but that they'd remove me from the list. I didn't give them any other info, but now I'm concerned they've somehow gotten access to my personal information. I'm particularly confused as to why my number was associated with someone else. Hoping it was a number error...

Messages received do not anything about what company calling, goes on to say have self or attorney call. Best of my knowledge violation of FDCPA, by leaving these type messages.  These people along with many others need to be lodged complaints against big time.

Threatening litigation, saying they need to speak to my attorney.  Either fraud or attempt to steal my identity.

I received a message last week from 585-507-4772 saying a complaint had been lodged against me by someone in a different county but nearby.  I was to call back and verify my social security #...no way!  I deleted the message and will submit them to our Attorney General for prosecution if I receive another one.  Pure garbage or a scam to steal my identity.

Left a message with various family members stating contact within 48 hours or legal action will be taken from Kaitlynn Reed.

Trying to collect on an old payday loan that I paid in November of 2009. Not the first time. Also did this in March of 2010. I have a letter indicating same was paid.  Faxed them the letter and will see what happens.  I'm sure they will try to tell me that the other collection company was not legit.

The message left was something about "fraud/litigation" department.  It could have been mitigation department.  No business name, no particular contact person (female caller.)  Collections I'm sure because I have a lot of unpaid bills (not fraudulent...just defaulted on.)  Hope this helps.
