got the same message, wanting my truck for sale, his number has been changed to 587 774 1346, BEWARE

He just tried to buy my car, he's a scammer

He sent me a similar email. Was rude whe when he said to only email him but did not supply an email do I text he said at work only email I said I would if you sent me an email address. It felt strange so I looked up the number. Thanks to everyone reporting this guy!!

Same here on my parents trailer, anyone called the cops yet? I'm so sick of these vermin. thanks for the heads up.

Thank you all for these posts!  We just listed my truck on Kijiji as well, and got the exact same response from 'Brody Clay ~ Marine Engineer' about paying full list price, he would pay all the paypal charges and shipping charges, and that he can't make phone calls. I thought it was really weird that he would want to buy a vehicle, sight unseen.  Also thought it sounded too good to be true, and apparently we were right.  Please note the number he contacted us from is (587) 782-8557 ~ so he must have a couple of numbers on the go.

Interesting!  He just responded to an ad I have on kijiji to sell a vehicle and wants to buy it immediately for the price listed and wants to pay through paypal.  Not gonna happen.  Says he's a marine engineer and due to the nature of his work he can't phone.  Doesn't even want to see the vehicle.

He has also got a fake PayPal link he uses to try and convince people that it is all legit. He's got a very well thought out and prepared scam. He is a bottom feeder! I hope people don't get scammed !

Yes the POS tried us as well.   We caught on early and did not loose any $.  He wanted us to send the same $2000 to a shipping company.

Any scammer can suck a fat one.

Thank you to those of you who took the time to report Brody Clay. He responded to an ad posted for a motorcycle we are selling. Offering asking price, and all extra fees including shipping, but wouldn't say to where. Thought our 'gut feeling' of a scam was right on, especially after finding this site.

I got the same type of return from Brody Clay who wanted to buy my motorcycle and he wanted me to send the transport fees via Western Union (2000$) to the transporter in California. His last Email was almost rude asking me why it was taking so long to transfer the transport fees.

I just got a text message from this number asking about a bike I have for sale. Asked me to reply via email. Glad I looked up the number and saw these postings so I know it probably isn't real

Now he is trying to buy a bike from me , i hate scamers ....
