I have been bothered by calls from this number for several months now.  It is apparent that they have the wrong number, and they have been told as such...but they feel that everyone is lying and they keep on harassing.  They need to stop or be sued, from all these other reports on this site, it seems like they would get a clue!

Received phone call yesterday.  Called and explained I do not know where the person they are looking for is.  Was told by Jessica that she would remove my phone # from their system.  Well now, today, have received 2 more phone calls one at 1758 and now again at 1858. I called back again, just now, and spoke to Jessica again and she apologized and said she wasn't sure why the automatic dialer is still calling me.  I really hope that I do not receive anymore phone calls from your agency.

recd automated call asking for ....(my ex-husband).  Have been divorced 17 years.  Does not pay child-support, do not have any idea where he is.  have had no personal contact w/ him in 17 years.

very helpful web-site info.  pulled up website, got 800#, called and they immediately found my info.  informed them that they had the wrong phone number.

Tonight they called while I was out for a walk at 8 PM EST so I picked up.  The prerecorded robo message said they were investigating Juan P... and to press 9 if I'm him.  Some investigation!  There was no option to answer otherwise.  Robo calls are very ineffective.

By the way, Peak's website says:   "Our telephone messages are NEVER computer-generated recordings.  Our calls are manually dialed by skilled collection professionals that know what to listen for, what to ask for, how to ask it, and how to obtain information from people answering the phone.  We know debt collection, we know what questions to ask and how, and we know how to leave a message that motivates your customer to call back right away."  So they lie to their customers in addition to harassing people for no good reason.

They called me two more times tonight at around 8 PM EST.  I didn't answer but they did distrub an interview I was conducting.  I'll have to remember to silence my phone.  I don't take wrong number nuisance calls while conducting business.  Peak certainly calls at random times.

"Yolanda" from my favorite collection agency from Phoenix called again.  I'm still not the guy "Juan" they want and I never heard of him.  They've called my cell about a dozen times this year.  No point in me taking any more calls from them. I got to vent on them and wish them all the best.

"Eva Goldberg" the female auto-caller was still looking for "Juan P."  She left msg Sat at 2 PM EST.  Live unidentified person called me an hour earlier from 602-249-3426 and I told her wrong number.  I wonder if "Eva" is married to "Dave Goldberg." No habla espanol- I'm not Juan P. and I don't know him as I told the other caller.  There are literally hundreds of Juan P's around the USA so good luck to Peak in finding him.

Got my latest call on 2/26/09 at 11 AM.  This time they pretended that "Juan Pena" was entitled to something and should press "0" to be connected.  I ignored the call. I wonder what other tricks this collection agency uses?

I'm not familiar with Debtor Collection Law but I guess their trick is to pretend to be investigating someone else and to get you to "consent" to speak to them by pressing 1 or calling them back.  Fascinating.

Per the automated message left on my cell phone, an investigator was looking for information on someone I did not know.  They gave the option to press 1 and be connected to someone or to call back at their number.  I just hung up. One thing was odd-- they called on Sunday at 5:30 PM.

The person they are seeking is not me. I have a perfect credit rating. I do know the person they are seeking, but I don't believe their business is any of mine.

I received many phone calls, almost every 2 days, from this number 602-249-2444 ranged from morning to evening. That is disturbing and very annoying. People from this company do not want to understand that a phone number wiil be given to an another phone subscriber soon the previous is canceled or disconnected.

Anyone knows where should I go to bring this matter legally against this company. Thanks

I had this number on my phone and redialed it. Someone answer and said they couldn't tell what number I was calling from and hung up. It best stop.

I got a recorded message asking for a certain person that is obiviously in trouble with debtors' and so i stayed on the line to speak to a rep so i could tell them they had the wrong number and the wrong person. The gentleman that answered had that opening that sounded as if he were reading a script. And he said "yes ms. so and so what can i do for you? And so i told him he had the wrong number and wrong person so please quit calling for her and he said "ya whatever" you know you are lying" so after a brief shouting match with this man about how these harassing debtors calls are needing to stop we hung up! Peak Finacial Services is what the caller ID shows. I personaly got upset when he accused me of lying.
