just got a call from these a**holes,,, they said they had my husband in a room with no phone and said to send money to them to let him go. I said "I work for immigration" and they hung up on me. :D
-They're just cartel members trying to get money. ;P

i tried to call police for same call they would not do anything same called fbi no action can u belive it if i did something like this or said the n word i would go to jail but  let this pos threaten lives and extort money they did not want to look into it. what!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our family got calls from this number, too. We are pretty sure these people are monitoring a phone in Ciudad Juarez and calling the numbers called on the phone. Hang up. They don't have information, that's why they ask you for information.

A man called stating if he could talk to someone in regards to the family members we have in Cuidad Juarez, MX. He asked whom he was speaking to, but I asked who was calling. He didn't give me a name he just stated he needed to speak to someone regarding family in MX. so I hung up.

I think someone who works there  give that information (this happen to me the past days,my father was there for his residence and they call me,asking for $)Also when he was in the clinic to have his check up they scam him $150 and when he find out and said something the guy told him to go to the police and laugh)but my question is when we can give the complaint? Who really heard what happen to a lot of people every day ? Who really care what happen in Mexico? Its really sad to said that but I don't want to go back to my own country :(

I also got a call from these anonymous people asking if we had family in mexico..

All of us receiving such calls should call the police and also report this guy to FCC....

I just talked to my family and they are fine. Do not give money to this number.

I just received a call from 602-366-5202 threatening about my family in Juarez Mexico.

Have any of u people have delt with immagration in juarez after an interview or do u have any ideas how this person has got ur personal info. if u have delt wth immagration in mexico in juarez where the american consultate is there can be a possiblility that an agent working there could have given away your imformation and scam u if u have please as soon as possible reply to this message.

hello. i have been getting phone calls from this number. he told me if i dont send the money that they want they are going to kill all my family and they are going to kill my family member that they cross from mexico to the U.S. We need to do something to find who is doing this!!

so...my post is the one above also.....today i recieved a call....withheld but the same situation as yesterday...it was a diff guy but he was asking if i had a family member on the border...i said where on the border n he said matamoros tamaulipas n i said huh-playing dumb n he said in a meaner voice DO YOU HAVE SOMEBODY WAITING ON THE BORDER YES OR NO!!! I said yeah my boyfriend jus got deported there n he hung up...i tried to get as much out of him as possible cuz i have part of the convo recorded  but he hung up on me....i hope they call again so i can get more info! piece of s*** mf's

yeah the above post is from my ma.....my boyfrind got deported to matamoros tamaulipas yesterday..i sent him money thru western union(in which i had to give my telephone number n address)...i made sure that my boyfriend calld every few hrs so i knew he was ok cuz i heard it was bad there.....today..hrs n hrs away from matamoros i got a call from my boyfriend saying he was ok and very close to his hometown...then not long after i talk to him i got a call from this number...i answered hello, they said bueno bueno (hello hello) i said who is this! they said hablas ingles(do u speak english) i said si poquito(yes a lil) they said estas en wisconsin(are u in wisconsin) i replied yes they said estoy llamando de matamoros tamaulipas(im calling from matamoros tamaulipas) and i hung up....this guy had a very firm freaky voice...it scared the s*** outta me even knew my bf was safe i jus culdnt believe they got my #...they are b*****ds...thnk god i kept communicating wit my bf n i knew he was fine! im sure people fall for this s*** thinking their fam or friend really got kidnapped and send money! im jus glad my boyfriend is ok and i also calld the number bak private and they do have a voicemail set up

omg my daughter just got a phone call a few minutes ago from this number. Her boyfriend was deported yesterday to matomoris, taumalipas and she sent him money when he got there. Somehow these people get your number. Probly from someone in Western Union. Thankfully I've heard about this happening before and she said it was just a 10 digit number which Mexico numbers are longer so she thought it was weird that he said he was calling from there. So she hung up and called me. Thank God she had talked to her boyfriend a short time before and he was already in his hometown. So I did some investigating to find out where the area code was from and found this site and found that this number is a scam. Thanks everybody else for posting so we all know for sure.

My friend got a call from this son of a b**** yesterday night, he was saying they will kill her husband in MX. She reported to the police, she even call the Phoenix PD,  I see message up there saying he also reported this to the police, the first comment was made on April 2011, so, this means the police is not doing anything? they have the phone # and the company, they can easily catch this a***ole, are they waiting for this to get real.

I got a call from this number and the guy calling asked what my name was i asked who was calling and he said that he kidnapped a family menber of mine who just had got depported mexico trough Matamoros,Mexico and he wanted money otherwise he was going to kill him, I just laugh and asked him if he would settle for 5 bucks and called him a lowlife and he got pissed and hung up.
A friend of mine did get depported 4 days before i got the call but when i got the call he was already in his hometown 28 hours away, They must have got my phone number from a public phone or hotel room from where my friend called me from.

Threatening calls from this number. It's a corrupted number they find out information and call the family for money. This guy even has a voicemail set up. DO NoT FALL for this individual is only trying to rob people for money.

Folks, this is just another stupid variation on the good old extortion scam. The stories are all fake, trying to scare you into paying them money. Use a whistle, air horn or your smoke alarm to blow their ears off.

I just recived a call from this number and the guy told me he was going to kill me, I just call the police and they are going to find this person t-mobile is the phone company.

They call me again that they want 1,900 dollars they want me to send half to hermosillo sonora thru western union and the other half thru this other company I dont remember the name right now.I don't know if all that his saying is true.I'm scared it may be true

Some guy from this number call a few mins ago saying that he have an ilegal inmigrants.but he was asking for money so he can let them go.he was very agressive the way he was talking.

a few minutes ago we just received a call from this number the person in the other line identified himself as a JESUS GAITAN, stated he had a family member from mexico trying to come into the states and if we didnt pay they were going to kill that person also was blurting out obscenities! i cant beleive they are allowing this piece of crap to do this kind of things!!!!
