same scam here, this "detective mike" is doing a pre-trial investigation for a Company we don't even know. But he is going to sue us anyway. Oh boy, good luck !

This is the same scam, "detective william", he is doing a pre-trial investigation for a debt we don't own.

United Creditors Bureau, this is a debt collector trying to scam people.
They are located in a residential home located near Phoenix, Arizona. Probably a single person company.

Same weird call here. He said he was Detective Mike Burnett, he said he was calling regarding a pre-suit investigation, and if we have any questions we should call his boss William Clark, to the same phone number posted above.

This is a scam folks, these people work for C2C Debt Collectors.
Detective Mike Buttler, is calling us because he has been hired in order to conduct a Pre-Trial Investigation to our business. He said we should contact his boss William Clark for further details at the same phone number posted above: 602-482-2636

I just called the same number and found out that I owed a vendor some money and that they were
filing a law suit against my company.  William Clark was very polite and referred me to the vendor I owed.  I called the vendor, confirmed the balance I owed and sent them a check.  I guess this is what happens when you dont pay your bills.

I just got identical call this morning on my voice mail. I will not be calling back. Anyone who tells you who started an investigation on you is a scam.

I just got that call.  Det. said his name was Rick Steel.  Said he was authorized to do an investigation.  I think this is some kind of scam.  Anybody get a reply or been served with anything?

Received a  call from a so-called detective. he gave me a case number and said I would be served today 12-02-12 regarding an investigation. He gave me the number of William Clark 602 482 2636, so I called and left a message.

Who is this from?

i just recieved the same one...the detective claimed to be Rick Ward and he told me William Clark authorized hime to start an investigation.  Called the number and just got a voicemail, has anyone heard back?

Received a voicemail 07/30/12 from Detective Richard Hightower (number blocked).  He stated he was placing a "courtesy call" to inform me that William Clark had authorized him to begin a "pre-trial investigation" for case # xxxxx-AZ.  Said if I had any questions to call William Clark at 602-482-2636.
I checked the AZ dockets and found nothing, plus AZ has a 6 numerical identifier as the second part of legal proceedings: case # XX20YY-xxxxxx-AZ.  
I called 602-482-2636 and left a voicemail; the answering message was generic, just asking to leave call back information and the call would be returned.
Then I Googled "William Clark 602-482-2636" and found the number is in the AZ white pages (land-line) listed to William Clark and also listed a residential address in Phoenix.  Hmmm... we'll see if my call is returned.
