THIS IS CREEPY A MALE FROM THIS NUMBER ASKED FOR ME BY MY NAME TWICE AND WHEN I TOLD HIM WHY WHO IS THIS IT HUNG UP ON ME!!!! GO AWAY!!!

They say they are from webtech i dont know why they keep calling but they call 3-4 times daily on my cell phone they dont stop calling no matter what we say

i pranked them back till they disconnected this number!

My cell phone rang two-three times and then stopped. I tried calling back to a "full mailbox" recording.

i pranked these f**s so many times they cancelled their number! i know they have other numbers...but i got back to them and thats what counts!

The company is American Web Tech - Summer Ventures. It's a well known scam. You can call them toll-free at 1-866-990-7483 or 1-800-786-4894.

It was about a week ago or so that i filled out the same form (what an idiot i am).
Now they call and hang up as soon as i anwser.
Anyway to stop these clowns?

Ok, Here is my two cents worth. I?m not near as angry as others on this post. I think it is because I know some of the how?s and where?s in my particular situation.
So here is what I know?. About a week or week and a half ago I ran across an advertisement on the Internet advertising a work at home job from your computer. According to the ad you could make anywhere from $200.00 to $1000.00 per day depending on your ability, and the time you spent at the computer. I was skeptical but intrigued as I had two people in mind
that could use the extra income, a stay at home mom and her semi-retired mother in-law. Even so I probably wouldn?t have gave it a second glance except it appeared to be associated with and sponsored by Google. It required some information to finally be able get to a page that had some details on it. All the previous pages were loaded with testimonials but no real information as to what the job was or what was involved. It turns out to be a scam on several levels.
1) They wanted people to send spam from their computer.
2) It had nothing at all to do with Google, other than somehow they were using Google in some way to find victims for their spam attacks.
3) Can you believe it? They actually wanted your Credit Card info so they could bill you every month for the list of names they would send you.
I did however give up my email address, and cell phone number, neither of which turns out to be a problem. I have a really good spam filter with my email. And my cell phone?. Well it was a pre-paid cell phone I had to pick up in a hurry when my other one got broken. I hadn?t used it in probably six months, and receiving a call on has been even longer, way, way longer.
So when I started getting calls today? I have pretty good idea where it came from.

These are just some of the misleading quotes from their web site. It?s free except for the shipping and handling charges and they want your Credit Card info for that. Repeat, Google is in no way connected with these clowns.

Who are these people.  They are contacting me too with no msg.

Phone rings and answering machine kicks in.  After my message plays -
You know the noise the phone co. puts on your phone if you leave the receiver off of the hook?  It's loud enough to be heard from across the room.  Since it is comming off the answering machine you can hear it a block away.  I wonder how long it goes when we are not home to stop it right away.  Bet my neighbors love it!

I've started getting calls from this number, usually daily. No message ever left. How the heck did they get my cell phone number??  Anyway, thought I'd say what city I live in so we can all see if we have anything in common. This is so annoying.  I've suddenly been getting "unknown" calls too.

this number doesnt stop calling me,it's a real pain in the a**,they call even at night after 10pm,how ridicoulous is that i'm so pist at this, they need to stop,no massages eaither.WISH THEY WOULD STOP!!!!!!

some guy asked for my girlfriend, i said she wasn't here. then he just hung up on me. i tried calling back alot but never got anybody, just a voice mail w/out a name that was full. i was getting mad at my girlfriend until i saw this page.

This number is calling all the time & no one answer when you answer the phone. Man, this needs to stop!

This number called twice yesterday....once today, which I answered and a sweet voiced woman actually asked for me by name(the name I use when I think I am being scammed by phone or online offers)....
Told her she had the wrong number and not to call back...or I would turn her in...
Actually, I put her on speakerphone and recorded the conversation...in case I need to press charges...
Also, Blue Whale company...phone #206-629-8642...another scam ...no strings 1000 dollars online shopping...then transfer you to supervisor to order mags....what idiots

I keep getting called by this number. They never leave a message, yet will let my voice mail run for 20-30 seconds and then they hang up. I can hear talking in the back ground and assume it's coming from a call center of some kind. Don't appriciate companies that think this kind of behavior is appropriate.
