Auto Warranty Call,,,recorded message. Came on my cell phone,,,my warranty is NOT even close to expiring.

This telemarketer keeps calling asking to renew the car warranty. And keeps calling every 10 minutes. STOP CALLING !!THIS IS A BUSINESS AND IT IS ANNOYING !!!

called all 4 of my cell phones trying to sell car warranty.  prerecorded call and cuts you off no mater what you push to get a live person.

The cell phone companies are just as responsible for this problem as the scammers!
As Brian mentioned, the 602-956-1588 number is "spoofed" which means that they have electronically disguised their real phone number. This is not just a problem of a scam but also a problem with the cell phone companies since they SHOULD have the means to prevent spoofing! Just like all websites have IP addresses, so do all telephones; both land and mobile. The cell phone companies simply are not motivated to prevent unsolicited calls to possibley earn them money for exceeding monthly minutes.

I just got this call around 5:56 (central)I didn't answer it nor, did I ever call it back(since I don't know anyone in arizona, just now I got curious to see if I could look it up on the internet and found this site, I'm sure am glad I didn't though. But next time I get a weird number I'm for sure coming again to this website.

I don't know anyone with this number.  I don't know anyone in Arizona.

ABC and NBC have both done reports on this scam. They are calling my daughter's cell phone. Now I'm pissed. These people have all 3 of our cell numbers. NO ONE KNOWS THEM but us three. I don't know how this happened. I'd suggest register your cell number today at the do-not-call list. In 31 days you can file a complaint.

I just wanted to inform everyone of this scam, I've been getting this annoying call for the last 6 months. I talked to a live person and everything I just point blank told then I was unemployed you think they would've said okay mam or something.  They went so far as to say, Well dont you have relatives that will pay this for you. I was like if I were to ask for anything it would be help keeping a roof over my head. I said Im not in a position to do that. And they continued to beg and so call transfered me to a guy in upper management who cont'd to do the same thing. And I told them it sounds great if your going to pay this every month for me. It went on and on and I had to hang up. Still getting these calls tho.

They did it so much, I hung up on them.

I too got a call from 1-602-956-1588; but, since I didn't recognize the number or area code, I didn't answer it. I did look-up the number, and it came back as a Hermelinda Silva in Phoenix, Arizona.

Just called me also. When I called back it was disconnected. Yesterday I received a call from 303-524-7235. Same method, did not leave a message, when I called back it was disconnected.

I've gotten calls on my cell and at home from these people, from various numbers - not always this same one.  Sometimes, they just leave voicemail with an obvious prerecorded message.  And today, I was in a hurry and picked it up.  I decided to press 1 to speak with someone and stop this nonsense.  A woman immediately asked me "Please give me your car's make and model and your license plate #s"  WOA!  I asked her to please tell me why I was supposed to give her that and not the other way around.  She said that when I press 1, "she gets the call as an incoming call and she does not have the file available".  And when I started to explain to her that I don't like to be called for this and that I am a Do Not Call #, she said something real quick, and HUNG UP the phone on my face.  I googled the # and got the same AZ person listing, but when I called, the # is out of service.

I looked up this telephone number in the internet and got this info:

But, when I call back this number, recording indicates it is a wrong number dialed. I NEED THIS MARKETING CALLER TO STOP CALLING OUR BUSINESS !!!  It is ANNOYING AND DISRUPTING OUR BUSINESS NUMBERS. STOP CALLING US every 3 minutes.

I have had enough of getting called by these people. I have requested to be removed from the calling list several times. Today I got a little upset and pressed one to actually speak to a person. The phone rang and was picked up by a female telling a John that he did a great job. Then she started talking to me. I heard her say something about a warranty and cut her off saying "my car is so old that it hasn't had a fricking warranty for a..." she cut me off saying "oh fricking warranty"...Then hung up laughing. IMO this is a pure scam. Please dont answer these ppl. just let it ring...

I also got a call from this number but did not answer and I am sure glad I didn't!

I keep getting "last chance to extend your car's waranty!" calls from numbers I don't recognize, so I didn't pick up this time (2:35pm today).  Glad I didn't.  

Next time, if I'm bored enough, I'll answer and see how long I can string them along before they realize I'm just wasting their time.  At least then I'll get a little amusement out of all these harassing calls...

7/22/2008 at 4:13 I hung up when I realized it was "the spammer" again.

Got a call from the phone number (602)956-1588 regarding 'car warranty'. I pressed '2' to speak with a representative but got hung up. No idea what is going on. I have received two calls from this number up do now. Any suggestion what I should do regarding this? Thanks.

Got a call on the cell phone at 2:27 EST from this number - did not answer.  I have been receiving a lot of car warranty junk mail lately too - wonder if it is related?

I've received 3 calls about this already and they've all said the same thing, "This is the SECOND notice..." Stupid spammers calling my cellphone.

this number calls me at 1:29pm.  i don't answer it because i'm getting ready for work, etc. i call the number back and it says we are unable to complete ur call at this time, try this number later code 12  787?  so i googled it...

Got a call today at 1305.  This must be the eight time they have called us.  We don't even have a vehicle warranty!  Every time I press one and talk to a person and ask them to remove me from the list - they hang up on me.

Today's call was a missed call.
Yesterday's was about car warranty.

I have been getting these calls on and off. what I don't understand is that this is my wrok cell not my personal cell.

I looked it up on google - there's a name and address for this number, obviously not anyone i know.

I received this call on my cell at 1.08 EST

It is illegal to use automatic dialing machines to call a cell phone.

This is awful. I've got this caller about 4 times already. Also, I own my two cars out right - no warrenty left anyway! They shoudl do something about it.
