I answered a short questionnaire on air quality a few months back.  Lady called yesterday from this number saying I had won a $200 prize and a driver would deliver it within a couple hours.  5 hrs later I called her back and she said he was running late and if I wasn't home he would leave it on porch in carport!!!!   Nothing there..  Answering machine on today!!!  Surprize, surprize!!

Unsolisited call

Got the same call, asked to confirm my address, so I said what address do you have?
She said it wasn't on her computer because my gift was already being sent and would arrive Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.   SURE IT WILL.  NO I DID NOT give her my address.
Will post again when gift shows up, don't hold your breath.........

My wife received call on Feb. 6. 2013. Same story as Mary but address was not requested.

this number called today, did not leave a messager.  Why doesn't the unwanted call list work?

On Sunday, July 15, a very polite lady called to remind me that I had participated in a telephone survey some number of months ago.  Did I remember, she asked?  She also indicated that I had won a prize and she asked me if I be home to receive it.  I said I was, but I did not receive any sort of prize and, to my knowledge, nobody came to my home (the address for which she confirmed over the telephone).  After looking up the number in Canada 411, I can see that other people have received telephone calls from this telephone number and that the company proportedly attached to it is called Vortex.  I am concerned that someone may be watching and keeping track of the comings and goings at my home.
