everyday early morning to at least 9 pm i receive calls from this number with no message

just got 5th or 6th call from this number that started on the 5th of March

This is "point to point referral department"

Some friends of ours bought timshare. These are the people that call your friends for you, to sign them up after you violate their privacy by giving their number to a pushy sales person to shut them up.

They seem to call us in PA at least once a day usually in the morning, sometimes in the evening. I don't want to answer bc I don't want them to track when we are home, but yes this is getting really annoying.

These calls are annoying!

I just received a call from this number requesting my husband by name. I told him I was his wife and ask to take a message. He would not talk to me only asked when he could call back and talk to my husband???

I want to know what this is about

I get this call 3-5 times a week since march.  I'm also in MA.  aggravating as hell...especially when you have already registered on the do not call list.

Past month have been getting this call with no message left on my answering machine my caller ID list this call as 604-595-4976, British CO Call. What or Who is this caller? And why not leave a message?

I live in Massachusetts, so it isn't likely they are calling to offer me a ride to vote.  I have been receiving daily phone calls, sometimes twice a day, from this number for over a week now.  I do not answer it, because sometimes if you answer the call, they tag you as being home at that time of day and will keep calling you.  Shoes up as British Columbia on my caller ID.

If you're 18+ and live in Vancouver Quadra, this is your day for a byelection, take your voter card and required identification and go out and excercise your democratic right.

If you cannot get there, I just got a phone call from a service that offered to drive people to the voter station, the inbound number was 604-595-4976, I would assume you can call there and they will give you a ride to your voter station.

They have been calling us too. I called back and it says the mailbox is full. That is the only info on it. I read the other comment that said it might be Bank Of America selling something.

Thay call all the time on the caller id late at night even Sundays. Just woundering who they are and why they call so late. Its getting old.

This number called at 8:55pm.  This is late for me.  I don't appreciate phone calls at this time of the night.  I answered, they hung up.

Today at 8:41pm i received a call from this number as well. No message and no identity.

I have received multiple calls a day from this number in march as well (today included!)  Sometimes it comes up as NEWTON BC or POTS BC because its in british columbia.  I have read somewhere else that it is some company calling on behalf of Bank of America to try and sell credit protection.  How do i make it stop?!?!

They can contact you if you do business with them. You need to send an opt out letter to Bank of America, or whoever they are calling on behalf of, and inform them that you do not wish for them to give your information to their third party providers, affiliates, etc.

POTS Phone has called me everyday for the last month.  Sometimes two and three times a day.  Very annoying! They never leave a message and I never answer, I have caller ID.

My boyfriend just got this call. After doing a search and finding all of your complaints, I just emailed the head attorney at Bank of America. Hopefully, something will be done.

They been harassing my phone for a month now. I called the 1888 number on the previous page and found out that that particular number was created because of all the angry people calling B of A. Those F*cking B*stards. I reemed them out and they made give my name, address, and phone to get off the list(which I shouldn't have been on in the first place. I'm on DoNotCall and I have never been a B of A customer). The calls better stop.

I finally got sick of this unusual number calling me and began researching it tonight.  I began by typing BC POTS in my url and was taken to a British Columbia website about what else, pot.  Although, it is unfortunate that we all are being harrassed by these individuals, I am releaved that I am not the only one. But, I was wondering if anyone has done anything to try to report this activity.

Called several times today, when I answer no one is on the line.

I've had my landline for 8 mos. and finally had to turn off ringers to all my phones and allow them to ring over to (in my case) the Comcast VoiceMail. Today is my first 2 calls from the (604) 595-4976 POTS Phone   BC. However, I've gotten so many from other auto-call machinres etc they simply overwhelm. And yes, I'm on do not call too. (By the way - I understand these HANG-up calls are only to determine when a live body is most likely to answer - then a human follows up later when they are most likely to find you home, so. e.g, never answer live) I've found over last mo. doing it way I do now, the number of calls has dropped off. Hope they don't get OK to call Cell phones or I'll dump mine.

It is Bank of America. After two hang up calls today, I called BOA Corporate Customer service. Call 888 668 6938 and have your name removed.

Called back Number, Recording said Mailbox full

When I answer there is a delay like some telemarketers do when they call, but then there are a couple of clicks and the line goes dead.

I went on the gethuman.com & called the toll free Bank of America number & got a person on the 1st ring.  I gave them the B.C. number & told them to stop calling me.  She asked for my verification information (ss #, etc.) & said my number will now be removed from the telemarketing list.  (It could take up to 60 days.)

Very annoying... At least two to three times a day. I have never answered the phone for this number...604-595-4976.
