To get the unwanted automated calls to stop, connect with a representative and kindly request to be "opted out" of those calls. They will require you to verify demographic information to comply with HIPAA laws and regulations, but once you do that, they will opt you out of ALL calls - as long as they are not required by law or by administration of your benefit plan.
Keep in mind that if you just tell them to opt you out without verifying your information - that the calls won't stop.
This is CIGNA home delivery pharmacy, they called but I didn't answer since I did not recognize the number. I returned their call, they were calling to verify information for a new prescription my doctor had sent in.
CIGNA wanting to let me know about the savings we could get with their mail in pharmacy. Nice info, but we can't avail ourselves of it.
several calls daily from this number, never leaving a cmessage
Cigna still calls with this number in spurts, never leaving a message. It is on my blocked call list now. If it is important enough to leave a message, I will call you back.
got another call didnt answer no message so i looked the number up again and realised it was cigna. called the number back pressed 3 to talk to a person and they removed me from ther list. so they said will see
this number called me. didnt leave a message and after reading the coments about it being cigna health insurance i was really confused. i dont have this insurance or any other for that mater
Yes Cigna would call me and tell me it was time to order my meds, then call me and tell me they were filling my Rx and call again and tell me they were mailing it. I told them to stop all the calling and just do there job. I told them the mailman did not call me at work when he put mail in my mail box - no he just did his job and went. I told them if they didn't stop call me I was going to report them for making harrassing phone calls That seem to get there attention;
I've been receiving calls from this number daily. The person(s) calling never leave a message. The caller id says SIOUX FLS SD. I think the country is is located in Malaysia on a fixed line.
It is quite annoying getting calls from them every single day, 3-4 times a day.
What a waste of time for us and for Cigna. It would be a cold day before we do business with them knowing the way they handle things.
repeatedly calls and no voice mails.. annoying as heck!
I was receiving about 4 phone calls form that number a day with no messages left. I finally called them and told them to stop calling me and I was told that it might take up to 3 weeks for them to stop. I have Cigna insurance and gave them my id card number to stop the calls since this is just plain harassment.
I receive approximately 3-4 calls per day from this phone number. 99% of the time they hang up immediately, 1% of the time they pick up trying to promote their teledrug program and I inform them that I am not interested in this service and to PLEASE take me off their calling list.
I am willing to do whatever it takes to report this phone number for unwanted calls.
It seems absolutely ridiculous that this number calls me this much. I receive calls as late at 10:00pm, 11:00pm and as early as 7:00am. Enough is enough.
I have received 2 "missed" calls on my phone today, and 2 yesterday with NO message, just missed calls.....a bit of harrassment I believe on their part....I did not order any prescriptions of any type for them to be concerned about and you'd think if they were so concerned they would at least leave a message.....must be some type of telemarketing on their part! A nuisance!!!
10 calls this morning from this number to my cell phone. That's a bit over kill ya think?
LOL!@the Cyborg dude(ette)
They always calling during working hours and starting 8 am on Saturday. I was frustrated and told them to remove my number from the list and I just got a phone call again! This is rediculouse. Wish someone can do something about it!
I just called Cigna's customer service number for the Teldrug company. They work for Cigna and if you have filled a prescription, they receive your phone number from your pharmacy in order to phone you to get you to fill your prescriptions via Teldrug. Supposedly it saves Cigna money. I reported to them that this blog is filled with complaints regarding the phone calls and it appears that their automated service is hanging up rather than explaining the service to the Cigna insureds. if you would like to call and give your feedback on this annoyance, call the customer support number for Cigna and let them know how you feel.
You are correct, it is totally annoying. My question is, if all of the recipients of the calls are with Cigna insurance, how did this person know that. The laws governing privacy are very stringent and it seems to me that we all have a legitimate legal action against the person/persons calling and annoying us. And possibly Cigna if they provided the insured's information!!!!!
These guys have their marketing program call at the weirdest times. Weekends. Nights. If they would just identify themselves as Cigna, I might pick up, and talk to them, because I know who I have my insurance through.
Instead, they ring three times and bail- no message. I'm sorry, they can at least identify themselves, nothing in conflict with Hipaa about that.
And here's another clue- if I haven't called you back after your third try, I probably don't see the need. QUIT ANNOYING ME!
Seems fishy. I haven't had CIGNA coverage for about 6 weeks now...and yet, I've received SIX calls in just two days from this number. I haven't answered -- but they aren't leaving messages. So I finally called the number back and spoke with a representative. She wanted me to give my Social Security number so she could pull my account up. Ummm...nope. Not gonna give you that. I asked her to please take me off their list -- there's no reason to keep calling me when I don't even have Cigna coverage anymore. She finally "found" my account after I gave her my phone number and birthdate. It just seems interesting -- probably just the incompetence of such a large company. Automatic calls going out to people who aren't even covered any longer. Geesh.
I find this very interesting to say the least if this is Cigna calling. Since I screen all my calls I did a *69 since they NEVER leave a message or ring two times and hang up.(?) Phoned this 605-373-0100 and the recording states "Cigna company. Please enter your partys 4-digit ext or remain on the line," and I was on hold over half an hour since I don't have a 'party' I am requesting to be transferred to. I was just curious if anyone would get on the line. Now, this is a Saturday before Christmas. Come Monday, I will be reporting this to Cigna in confidence they will have a good explanation for this type of behavior again if it is a Cigna Company calling. I will report what they say.
Liar! You didn't report anything! I just got a call from that number - wish someone somewhere figured it out.
I called and it is a call from Cigna, hit the option for an extension and then dial in a random 4 letter extension you will get an audio menu for customer service. choose Customer service. I got a real person and what they do is see if you could utilize their tela-pharmacy services.
I keep getting calls on this number with a computer asking me to hold on. very frustrating to know a company will burn up your cell phone minutes with this type of spam.
I do have a policy through work with Cigna but no matter how many times I tell them I'm not interested in their prescription offer and to stop calling, they don't listen.
I got a call confirming a prescription I had done through cigna tel drug mail order
Now that I know this is Cigna making marketing calls to my cell, I will store the number and set the special ring for this number to "Silent". That way, I'll never be bothered to look at the phone when they call and won't have to keep wondering who the F is calling me all the time.
I usually complain about such calls, but in fairness, I have to report calls that I found undeserving of complaints as well. This number is one such case. And no, I don't work for these people.
After a few calls and checking the number on the net, I answered. It turns out they represent Cigna insurance (for one), which I have, and offer setting up your Rx perscriptions in 3 month supplies for convenience and savings. It saved me exactly $100 per year, and I even got the name brand now, plus I don't have to run to the pharmacy each month because it comes in the mail.
If you have no business with Cigna, they may be calling you representing another carrier, I don't know. But when you answer say "hello" a few times to trigger their equipment to pick up get an operator. If no answer try it again when they call. They are calling for a legitimate reason that might be beneficial to you. If you have no business with who they rep or have no need for their service, just tell them so and be done with it. Otherwise listen to them because you might find as I did they offer a good deal.
Anyway, I found this to be a legitimate number conducting real business. The representative was extremely polite and professional. Upon request, she provided me verification in many forms including her badge number that allowed me to confirm her identity with Cigna. She had no problem when I declined giving her any credit card information for billing (for obvious reasons). She understood, telling me I can input that information on a secure connection from the Cigna site or via mail upon receiving the shipments and bill.
I just received a call from this same number. Given that it is Cigna and most people have caller id these days they should leave a message and not just hang up.
