If you paid a scammer though - that is - someone who did NOT send proof that you owed a debt and that they could collect that debt - a paid in full letter or receipts will not stop the real owner of the debt coming after you.  That's why you should ALWAYS demand proof that (a) you actually owe the debt, and (b), the company calling you is legally able to collect the debt from you.  Any caller who refuses to mail proof of debt owed to them is owed nothing, per the FDCPA.

Well Rocco, you're full of S***! I carry no unpaid debt, have never even applied for a PDL. But I have been a third party to numerous conversations with your people regarding an associate of mine. All of which were logged & recorded. You are deceitful, loud mouthed, smoke-blowing frauds! After numerous demands for a notice of validation, guess what! He, to this day, has received....NOTHING!
So let's just cut to the chase. Supply everyone here with your valid physical address. NOT your P.O. box number. Tell us which states you're licensed in. Give us the name of your Attorneys & their address. You won't supply us with a thing because, to do so, would result in an avalanche of cease & desist letters and more than a couple of Summons.
Rocco, you and your fellow western NY fraud shops are a blight & a laughing-stock in the legitimate debt collection industry. With your types out there it's no wonder that legitimate debt collection firms are all struggling. Thanks to you, and the foreign operators, people have even less respect than ever for debt collectors. Not that authentic collectors ever had much to begin with.
To anyone receiving a call from Check Systems, DEMAND a valid & complete notice of validation be delivered to you by mail. NOT e-mail or fax. As per federal law under the FDCPA. Give them NO information. If they have title to a legitimate debt, they already have your information. Believe NOTHING you're told by Check Systems. If they send you anything by mail (which they won't) VERIFY everything before you pay them a dime.
Everyone needs to familiarize themselves with the FDCPA. It's easy. Just Google it. If Check Systems calls and dances around the law, you'll know it and will have no second thoughts about ignoring them or blocking their calls. If you owe a debt, pay it or make arrangements to do so. To the original creditor if possible. If a third party collector (such as Check Systems) owns title to a debt they'll have no problem with proving it. Legally. If a third party debt collector can't, or won't, abide by the FDCPA he's proven that he is attempting to collect on an invalid, time-barred or purely bogus debt.
An educated consumer is a fraudulent debt collectors worst enemy. Aren't they Rocco?

Gah, shills are just coming out of the woodwork this week.

It's not up to people here to call you; it's up to your "company" to send proper debt verification.  Not over the phone, not e-mailed, not faxed but MAILED. You cannot claim people will go to jail, either.  Based on the posts here, that is happening and proper procedures are not.  And yanno what, Rocco? I believe them over you.

I got a call from this number and a woman left a voicemail on my phone SCREAMING in a very rude NY accent that I would be taken to court for an old debt. I called the number back and originally the man introduced himself as "Rocco Deluca" and told me that I could settle a debt for $233 if  I paid by the end of October. He said if I didn't agree to this I would be going to jail. He later told me to contact him if I needed anything else, I asked for his name and number and gave me the name "Allen Lee Maxwell" and the phone number 585-730-6184. I asked for verification of the settlement he offered prior to providing proof of my banking information, he told me I did not have time for this and needed to provide my banking information immediately. I blocked both of these numbers.

Rocco Deluca on google is some kind of musician.  I called this number yesterday for Chex systems and he said I needed a letter paid in full from the loan company.  I have receipts from my checking account with ach payments and a letter from a different legal firm arranging payment for this past loan.  This guy says the original loan company is filing charges on me.  But then I see his number on here.  Thank you people for postings.  These guys have wasted my time.

I got a vm from a Ms. Mario Johnson that said they are going to garnishing my payroll and that I have been warned and she gaved the last 4 digits of my ss#. I called the number back and I get a fast busy
signal. I don't like knowing some weirdo has the last 4 digits of my ss#. Which I have credit monitoring services with all 3 credit agencies. I saved the vmail and I contact the FCC, BBB and other companies to file a complaint with them regarding this company.

After reading these posts i was very weary of paying. I spoke with my Attorney he said to make sure i got documentation of all payments made. I brought my paid in full letter in and was informed that as long as i had my letter no one could come after me again. So as long as this is really over, it was worth the peace of mind of no more phone calls and threats

I received a call today from 585-730-6939 and the caller left a message.  James said he was calling on behalf of Rocco DeLuca and they represent Check System. The complaint is regarding a case filed against me for online loans.  I have never applied for any online loans.  He said i had until 4 p.m. today to call back and resolved this matter.  I will call and tell them that i have never had any online loans.  Please stop calling my phone leaving these messages.
