TY for the info. Got two calls from them today. One at this # and another at 2108240171. what tells me this is suspicious I that they called using a different #, to try to throw me off!! Didn't work!!

got a call from 607-324-9846 6/4/14 11:27 AM (AZ time) Caller ID said 'NEW YORK' did not answer, no message left.

Got a call from this number claiming about my missing dog. Um all of my dogs are right here.jerks!

they are total scammers and they are ignorant middle easterners  their "American" names, wht a joke and all your hear is the is the ditherdither slure of their English....the rrrrr's give it all away7  then then are now starting to get obscene....moveondotslimeball  upur name is not Richard and you are not American a***ole...

Hi I'm in London i nthe UK just got a call off this number 607-324-9846 telling me it's the Hornell, NY area. As I only know two people all the way in NY (both of who would email rather than call) I ignored (plus I'm not paying foreign call charges) hope no one else picks up!

Received a VM from this # yesterday. Message stated they were Agent Kevin Peterson, even though they had an Indian accent, and they left their 'direct hotline' # of 250-999-9061. Stated that I needed to return the call as it was an urgent and time sensitive matter and that I should not disregard the call or I would need to be prepared to face legal consequences...okay, as if...scammer.

THEN the same person called me again this morning at 7am and left the same VM...very annoying scammer.

Hopefully 'Kevin Peterson' loses my number soon...

I have received a few calls from them but don't usually answer since it comes up as PAYPHONE on caller id, when I looked up the number it comes up as a PAYPHONE at a FRIENDLYS RESTURANT in Hormell NY next time they called I answered and they said they r from windows and my computer was downloading viruses, I asked them how this was possible since I have an apple computer so I don't have windows then I asked why they were calling from a Friendlys Payphone and they hung up..total scam don't bother to answer any if their calls!!

Same thing happened to me!  I called the police in Hornell NY (where the call was coming from) about it. They were not interested.

This number showed up as PAYPHONE on caller ID.  Someone with an Indian accent says they are from the Microsoft IT dept. and my computer sent some type of signals indicating problems or viruses.  I've been getting a lot of these calls lately from different numbers, all people with Indian-sounding accents, all stating they are with Microsoft and my computer has "problems".

Does anybody anywhere fall for this?  I hope not.  I think I'm going to start blowing a loud whistle into the phone on future calls.

This number "+1607-324-9846" called me today. I did not pick up the phone, i did not trust it.
I directly searched it on the internet and found this page.

We have been called twice this week today was this number and 2 days ago it was a different number this is getting annoying im trying to do all the research I can on this so I can go public with this on the Wes it's crap and someone has to start looking out for the little people

Same thing Payphone 607-324-9846......some Indian speaker telling me He was with Micrrsoft and there was a problem with my computer......asked how he knew that, he blubbered on then he hung up.....didn't like my questions......loser!

This number calles me and there was about a 5 second delay before someone with an accent from India, told me I was selected for a credit card of some sort, (was hard to understand) with a limit of $5.000.00.

Second time this Indian guy has called telling me he is with windows and my computer is sending out viruses. Told him I would call my computer guy immediately, he said he could fix it, I told home f@@k no, there was no way in hell he was getting in my computer and to f@@k off. He hung up on me..wonder why??? LOL. Scammer.

i got a call today and when i answered  a foreign guy said hello then i got hung up on,,,,then i tried callin it back and it says the number is no longer in service

Person calling stated they're lawyers and it's urgent they get whole of me but there's no reason for legal matters

Just got a call from this number, scammer from "Windows Services" telling me that they had monitored my downloads and had detected errors and viruses.

Had a call from this number twice this week. He talks very fast (he probably knows I am going to hang up) saying something about my computer and Microsoft Windows and that's when I interrupt and tell him my computer is working fine, and hang up.

i got call from this number(+16073249846 ) . i received  and he said "hello.." and after it call was disconnected. I wondering who is this and why he call is calling me.

They've called me as well saying something about an unwanted virus download that they wanted to make me aware of and help "fix".  I asked what country they were calling from and he stumbled a bit and said Washington.

I received the phone call from this number claiming it to be from Toronto. A person with an Indian accent told me my computer was downloading viruses. When I asked them where they got the information they could not answer coherently, and when I told them to give me a number I could call them back at they immediately hung up

Another call from 607-324-9846 telling me my computer has 'errors'. When I asked what errors, she told me my computer was sending out 'viruses'. So I told her I know, because I was a virus writer and was sending her the viruses on purpose. That caught her off guard, but I kept insisting my computer was sending out viruses that I wrote on purpose. Then I manged to get her to listen to about 3 minutes of 'dead air' while she got increasingly frustrated and kept telling me that she knew I could hear her. She was right, I could hear her but was trying to waste as much of her time as possible. Third time they've called, they call ~ every 3 months.

Says his name is Policeman Barker and wont call the employee at home.

Just received a phone call from this number.  I answered it but couldn't hear anyone on the line and it disconnected after 14 seconds.  Caller-ID said that it's from Hornell, NY.

Just rec a call from this number..but had another call earlier from 510-943-3640...same thing, different area of course....getting annoying....I just ignore...
