Just got a call from this number. The ID said "ILLEGAL SCAM". That was handy.

Called my cell (don't know how they got it since I don't give it out). Wanted to know if I wanted a free wireless security system just for putting their sign in my yard.

Got a call from this number at 11:30am est on a Sunday. No message left, so I looked it up and found this info. Gladly added to my blocked call list. If they really need me, they can leave a PROFESSIONAL (businesslike: conforming to the standards of skill, competence, or character normally expected of a properly qualified and experienced person in a work environment) message. How did our cultural social standards get so low?

What does this have to do with Obama?

Called asking a million questions and wouldn't just get to the point. Supposdley it is Ernst and Young doing some study.

The only reason I research these numbers is for amusement. They're all the same, crap. Sometimes I put the phone against the TV. They disconnect without answering. Otherwise, I screen and ignore these calls.

this was the third time someone called from this number... No message left...  I called back and
a man answered the phone... He said I was not him who called... and this was his phone number?
THis call was made at 6:55 pm eastern time  and I told him NOT TO CALL MY number anymore.

They left message, stating they wanted to talk to me about my health insurance coverage.
"None of their business"!

The woman I spoke with said they have been contracted by United Health Care to update Medicare records for Medicare.  She was actually very nice and explained everything even though I was rude.  I was still hesitant to give her info but, they did have my AARP Medicare info.  Just thought I would post so others getting calls would know.

This is Chamberlain Marketing Research.  They do paid marketing research.  They don't sell anything, so that's why they can call.  They gentleman I spoke with said they are hired by a variety of companies to do their research/focus groups.  They were trying to recruit me for a video game study to evaluate different stages of a developers video game.

I am on a no call list.  This is very upsetting.

Called today, December 15, 2011, and didn't leave a message. We aren't members of AARP, none of us HAVE insurance, etc. etc. etc. so there is no reason why they are calling our number(s), not to mention that ALL of our numbers are on the Federal Do Not Call List.

These are ILLEGAL CALLS and each and every one of you should be reporting them to the FTC. (FTC.gov)

my phone rang @ 3:15 am, looked at the number and it's 608-268-3066, luckily I didn't answer now that I read all these posts :s I saved the number as "DO NOT ANSWER!" in case they call again in the wee hours of my sleep...I hope they don't call anymore :(

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that if this number is in fact Chamberlain Research, then they are legitimate. I have participated in several focus group studies at their office here in Madison and find them to be most professional. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

How self-serving is the first response! These guys are pushing themselves off as representing Wachovia. Wachovia says they do not contract out any of their surveys. So, how did they get my # and know I had made a transaction w/ Wachovia on a certain day at a certain time? The FRAUD hairs on the back of your neck should be standing on end!

I HATE when someone calls and calls and calls and doesn't bother to leave a message.  Harrassing.

called yesterday 6/1/11 around 7pm. I was on another line and did not answer. No message. This was a sip line that I only use through google voice, the only way they could get it is from the sip provider (callcentric).

Really, come up with a plan to stop "terrorists". Wait, first define terrorism. If you know it's coming, it's just an attack. You are stupid.

They are still at it.  I refused to answer, their daily calls.  It's a long distance number  I don't know.

What about people who have the pay per minute cell phones.  No one should be forced to pay for their behavior.

I have told my provider to block the number.  If they are a legal company, they behave unethically.   I am tired of legal but unethical.

I do not answer any questions at all if I am called.  A company's real number can be found by myself.  If called, they usually say no employees ever called.  Don't take any calls asking questions.  Hang up.  The government agency or company phone number can easily be found and called.   Even mail requests should have addresses verified before sending personal information.  Obviously the dates of previous posts show that no law enforcement agency has stopped them for years.  Beware.  We are on our own.

I've gotten two calls from them on my cell. First time, no message. Second time, it was Chamberlain Research wanting me to come in to their Madison offices to do a survey. They said they were "particularly looking for students," which means they almost certainly got my contact info from UW-Madison (my number is an unlisted cell phone that doesn't even have a Wisconsin area code).

Rec'd junk call from 608-268-3066 - [4:13 pm] - did not answer, no msg left. Reverse Lookup points to landline from Madison, WI. Appears to trace back to Chamberlain Research.

Isn't it amazing when you want to pull up more info on these dirtbags, they're hidden. They are off John Nolan Dr., Madison, WI.

These so-called research companies should be conducting a survey as to why the Socialist Obama is just fine with "absorbing another terrorist attack as perfectly acceptable"--would be far better spent time, instead of annoying the rest of us with their moronic stupidity.

I dug around a bit, and it turns out they do customer satisfaction surveys for a bunch of different companies and similar kinds of work.

This was a call from a market research company to small business owners; she was very professional and courteous.  She was conducting a market survey for TDS Telecommunications on small business telecom.

They're still at it.
