Got a call from this number asking me to take a survey about fire safety procedures in my home.  The caller spoke in heavily accented English and claimed I could be entered in a raffle to win some sort of GE appliance.  It seemed very odd to say the least.

They told me I won a ton of money.  Went on an on about this was "not a game" and how "God could bless any one of us" with a prize winning, etc.  

Very suspect!

They have called consistently and hardly say anything then say I under investigation and then say they can help me. Also left a message after calling consistently with a unknown number. I am wondering how they obtained my phone number and I looked teh number up on Yahoo and Google and it comes back as nothing even attempted reverse look up. They are Spanish speakers and it has to be a SCAM. Be careful of websites you go on I say. Be very careful. I have hired a company to assist me in getting people to stay off my email and to investigate these people. It may cost me but peace of mind is priceless.

This number just popped up on my phone.  Don't know who this person/company is.  It just said WISCONSIN and then the phone number.  Reporting this as I have completed the Do Not Call for my phone line some months ago.  The caller did not leave a message.  If it is some sort of scam, this needs to be looked into.

I keep getting calls from this number on my office phone and it's always a non-native speaker of English, so very hard to understand. I let one come through today and told them it was a business and to stop calling. We'll see if that works.

Caller said something about making me happy, and would i like that in a really disgustingly intimate tone.

this number showed up on my called id, i ansered ti but no one was there....how to block these numbers is unknown to me.  how they get my number is unknown to me... any suggestions?

We use Google voice, which forwards to our home phone.  When people call our Google voice number, sometimes calls show up as being from this number, rather than showing the caller's phone number like they're supposed to.  But when we check the Google Voice logs, it shows the actual number that called us.  Seems to be a Google Voice glitch.

repeated calls from 608-327-5199. Answer, no one there. We are on state and federal no call lists.

This is a Voice Over IP spoofed phone number.  It is the same as the 8 other calls I have had from these people wanting my credit card for a free secuirty system.  These people are also -

Called and hung up on me without speaking. I'm on no-call lists but that doesn't stop them. Sometimes it's an auto-dialer that calls a bunch of numbers at once, they really don't have enough telemarketers to speak to everyone who picks up so that's why you often don't hear anything if you pick up.

You don't want to call them back if they leave a number or you see it on your caller ID because sometimes it routes your call some crazy way that ends up costing you a ton of money. Sometimes I think they're just verifying that your number is working and that someone will pick up the phone so that they can sell your number to telemarketers.  It may not originate from your local calling area, they have ways to spoof numbers so you cannot tell where they're coming from.  I am killing my land line and depending on my cell for this very reason. There's really no way to stop them, even if you figure out who someone is and report them they will just switch to another number, there are millions of phone numbers and you can't report all of them. I recommend you don't waste your time trying.

They call repeatedly, because I have an answering machine to screen calls I don't pick up and they leave no message.

Call came in at mid-morning.  Answering machine picked up.  No message.  Unusual to receive a fraud call from my own area code.  I am on state and fed DO NOT CALL lists, BTW.

it was some girl speaking in spanish, she said that she just wanted to afferme help but it was really wierd so I hung up.

phone rang caller was japanese, and when I told him I was on a do not call list he didnt want to hear that and continued to try to engage me in his conversation-I hung up

It was some random dude speaking in spanish really fast. And then a girl. Then they hung up.

They call and ask you to take a survey regarding fire safety in your home.  Then they call back a few days later and tell you that you've been selected to win a free security or fire system or something.  I didn't pay too much attention, because I knew it was a sales call and didn't appreciate the way they went about it with the fake so-called survey.  I told them I live in a condo and the condo association takes care of all of that for me.  He hung up then.
