I posted a notice for a lost iPhone and received an email from "Jia Meixiu" who said s/he is deaf and to send a text to 347-471-1139 with all of my personal information.  Posting here for the name and also posted on the page for the phone number in the email.

I just posted a loss wallet on craigslist and I got a text from her two days later saying she found it but had to go to Hong Kong and wants me to send money to that name that you guys are mentioning and saying that she'll send it through DHL sad she is still def  t I lost my wallet in stockton ca and she found it and took with her to Hong Kong  yea  

Same bs from this number and person. What a sad excuse for a human being.

This is a scam. I had posted an ad on craig's list re a lost wallet.
They now want me to pay them to "send my wallet back' Too bad the police already found my wallet and are mailing it back to me.

Received text messages from Jia Meixiu stating she found my lost wallet .... Of course she's deaf so I can't call her directly.   Felt like a scam I gave no info to her

Number texted me for a Craigslist lost-and-found scam.  Asked me to verify info about a lost wallet, but stopped messaging me after I responded.  Asked for my email address which is entirely unnecessary for the exchange.

I just recieved a text about my lost wallet that had my life savings in it from jia a deaf girl great.... Time to file a report wish I wasnt so trusting f*** craigslist...

I had also lost my bag and a person called Jia Meixiu claimed to be deaf sent me a message from the number 9712383239 and told he/she had the bag and  asked for my name, address and email address.

I just got an email from Jia and found this thread after a simple google search.

Sadly, I gave the person my address, phone & email.Now i'm getting fake DHL emails asking me for money to be sent to Rosaura Barra I should have known!  Now, I've filed a report with the FBI.

i knew it was too good to be true. got a text from the same jia.

I also posted on craigslist about my lost wallet, and received an email from a deaf "Jia Meixiu" asking for my name, address, phone number, and email.  

I can't believe people have the nerve to do something like this to others. Thanks for reporting. If u have an iphone u can block her from txting or calling you.

What a scam. The same deaf Bianca text me...

I have reported this number to the FBI Fraud dept and you should all do the same. This person has been harassing me after I posted a stolen purse ad on craigslist

I received a email, stating they had found my lost wallet, and asked me to describe what was inside of it, and my full name address ect. along with a description and a few other things. They said their name was Bianca and they were deaf, and that I would have to text them. Not thinking anything of it, I did text back but did not give out any personal information other than my name and they had already had my email. Think they are targeting people from craigslist....

I began receiving threatening phone calls back in July and had no idea what was going on. So I moved and changed phone numbers.

This person keeps texting me saying they found my lost wallet. And keeps telling me to email dhlagents@gmail.com. They won't leave me alone.

They texted me saying that they had found some hammocks I lost, but then asked for all of my information (address, license, phone) and asked me to fedex it to them. super sketch.

There's the magic words - Western Union. If it's from a "business", it is a 100% scam. No bank, Government, real estate agent, FBI, etc. does business by Western Union. Western Union is CASH.
