varifies name and hangs up

i received a call from this number, and i have registered my number twice on the nat'l dnc list! i have asked to be removed from their specific registry; and yet i still get calls.  this is absurd!  

i didn't answer this time; and no message was left.

I got 4 calls from this number today.  When I call it back it has a soverign bank answering machine, but no way to talk to anyone unless u have a ext. number.  Sounds like a phishing scam to me

I don't answer the call b/c I don't recognize it, but when I call back it's a Sovereign Bank machine and you can't progress without an extension number. I don't even have a Sovereign Bank Account!!

Was contact for the second time last night (at 7:20) and spoke with a woman who said she was from Sov collctions.  She had my business name, my cell number, and the last four digits of my line of credit, and knew its limit.  

I had just shut this account down. Just spoke with a rep from Sov ID Fraud department and she thinks someone is phishing.  She shows no Sov locations with this number (the message could have been recorded) and the timing of the call does not match their protocols.  

Should someone contact you from this number, immediately contact the credit bureaus and have them freeze your SSN (and EIN) as appropriate.

I just received a call from the. Call ID said Sovereign Bank. When I answered, they hun gup

The info that the sovereign bank rep stated was a line of crap.  This number is absolutely from one sovereign bank.  If you've ever dealt with these jackals you know to just change your number they won't stop harassing even if you've never done business with them.
