Let them know theMinnesota attorney general office is not too happy with them not removing you from their call list, and that each subsequent unwanted call makes the caller liable for $2,000 damages, and finally that the call notifying them of damages has been recorded. They really don't like being recorded and immediately tell you they cannot talk with you if you are recording the call.
With enough complaints, the attorney general's office will follow up.

This phone# 612-626-3261 needs to stop calling people and leaving hang up messages! I've called twice and spoken to a live person and was told it was the U of M for some survey. I told them to remove the cell phone# from their list! Have received 5 hang up voice mails, with nothing but background jibber jabber in the background over the past 5 days!!!  

This one has called several times, and jacked my cellphone bill up by $15.  Some health survey.  Next time I will ask them where to send the bill for my overages.......Shouldn't we be able to block solicitors on cellphones?  Anyone know how?

They are calling as part of a U of M and State Health Department effort and they will give you the doctor's name who is in charge if you ask for it.  I specifically asked for the doctor's name and number, called her and left a message, and she called me back and confirmed that this is indeed work that she is doing for the State of MN.  Please see the following link: http://www.shadac.org/profile/ktcall  If you actually live in Minnesota, and you care about getting access to good Health Insurance in 2014, then pay attention, because unless you have money, you aren't going to get good insurance.  Pretty simple, right?  It is actually much more complicated than that, I know, but that's what she is trying to prove with the results of this survey.

Keep receiving calls from this number up to 9:00 pm.  They claim to be doing a health insurance survey from the U of M.  I have asked them not to call but they still do...

If  this is legit: Why do they not leave a message? Why did they call my cell phone? When asked to remove a phone number, why do they not comply? The U of M has to be aware of the tactics used by this POS outsourced firm; but apparently the U of M feels the ends (survey results) justify the means (outright harassment).

Same U of M insurance crap, hang up and immediately call them back and tell the guy who answers (with some long winded offices of something or other greeting) to take you off their call list.  I wouldn't ream the guy out or he might "forget" to take you off the list after you hang up. It's not like you can prove you told them to after all.
I think the outgoing call you receive might be a machine from the same call center, which is why there is sometimes nobody there, because the dialing machine hasn't recognized you picked up and transferred the call to the talking info gathering machine yet. Inbound calls to them all reach a person at the call center however.
We will see if this permanently fixes it I guess.

It's ridiculous that they are allowed to get away with this.  They called many times, and I finally answered it - and told them I didn't want to participate in their survey.  But they kept calling.  I answered it a few times, but there was never anyone there.  So I finally called the number - and was told it was "my fault" as I didn't tell them to take my number off the call list.  I said "why would I have to do that - I've already told you I didn't want to participate".  She said she'd take my number off the call list - but unfortunately, they keep calling.  My boyfriend answered the other day, and reamed the guy, so hopefully that's the last we will hear from them.

it's legit, but it's also an outsourced company conducting the survey on behalf of U of M. I asked to be removed and they called me again from this number.  The first time was from a NY number.

They should not be able to call my private cell phone line.  This is the first time I've ever had a company call for a survey!

Its not a scam. If it were its a bad one because they dont ask you any personal information. Its the u of m doing income based research studies on the access to health care due to the new health reform.

When you receive a call form 6126263261 please keep calling them from gmail account phone. It is free call and they will learn that it is not fun to annoy people. I just called them about 40 times. Just call them when you are not busy and talk nonsense.

Survey taker for Minnesota medical something. Either way nothing important

I get these calls also.  I am from Minnesota but have lived in Alabama ):, on and off, for the last 20 years.  All of a sudden they have my cell number?????  How and why?

This number not only calls my home phone but my cell phone too.  Bugs the daylights out of me and my daughter!!  They call several times a day sometimes, and won't speak when you answer!!  This is totally rude and unacceptable!!  Only my closest family members have my cell number and I don't like these jerks calling.  If you're going to call me....talk to me when I answer or don't waste my time!!

That's not true, Buster. It's not autodialed - these a-holes have been calling me for weeks. They never leave a message and when you answer they are completely mute - not a word and then hang up. I think they're looking for homes with no one at home to maybe rob. I dunno.

Calls every freakin night at 7:30, then sometimes a second time later. Never leaves a message and won't speak when you answer the phone. Really pisses me off. Wish I could find the pricks and cut thie phone lines.
