this number is calling us few times a week, but no people talk.

I have received phone calls from this number (613-482-0393) a few times but when I answered the phone, there was no one at the other end.

they keep calling - cant we get them on the spam registry or something

This number calls everyday for the last month then hangs up....

The calls are coming from a telemarketing firm XENTEL.  They are responsible for the majority of the calls we get from charities and non-profit organizations.  They have a website where you can put your number on their do not call list and then follow up with registration on the CRTC do not call list.

The groups they fundraise for receive little more than 10% of monies collected.

If we stick together and boycott all charitable organizations that pay these fundraising costs, perhaps it will stop.

Same here ..this is getting annoying
