I have never had verizon! Verizon confirmed that they didn't call me and never have. The number when you call it goes back to verizon, though. I alerted them that this was happening and they told me to call the police.

I get these calls like six times a day -- and no, I do NOT have verizon. Never have. AND the messages that they leave me are in spanish... very annoying. I did call Verizon, and they even made sure that someone who used to have my number (which would have been 5+ years ago) didn't have a past due balance. Verizon reccomended that I contact AT&T and the police. 6 times a day is harassment. And I don't owe them ANYTHING.

Ummm, you are a moron.  I don't now or ever had Verizon.  It is not computer - automated dialing from Verizon, it is a scam company using records from Verizon that they hacked into.

I don't answer numbers I don't know.  I am having phone problems and new phone just arrived.  I will be able to return calls to numbers leaving messages due to being in the hospital.  Please text or leave voicemail for me to respond to this unknown caller...

called wife's phone which hasn't been given out to anyone but doctors office. telling her it is ryan when return call told I dont have autherisation to call this number.

calling my wifes phone asking for me. saying Ryan calling... don't know this person and when called back told i do not have autherisation to call this number!

It is Verizon calling about your bill just make a small payment online and they will stop with the calls!

stop screaming everything is a scam.   It's Verizon telling you there's a past due amount on your bill.  Yeah I know , I know, .you don't owe ANYTHING, that's why they are calling you.   Paranoid a little?

Verizon is infinitely more legit than this number. They just called me again asking for my dad...I told them to take me off their calling list because it's obvious to me they are not verizon. Why would they not know my dads number? Think about it....

I received this strange call on my cell phone and I want to know who called me.

this is a scam i had believed that paying through this number would clear my account with verizon because i was a few weeks late. It did not and i had 2 unauthorized transactions completed on my account 5 days after i gave them my info. if u owe on ur bill pay through verizon directly. if not try the spam control and if they continue threaten the police they still call me even when i have a clean bill. this is what i get for being young and naive.

i recieved a call from this number it indeed is verizonwireless, i had called the actual verizonwireless customer service and they confirmed it by calling it there selves. i however am not late on my bill i still have sevreral days before it is due, and it was financial services calling to get a payment. I feel it is ridiculous to recieve a call for a payment when you are not even late. i am very angry if i hadnt been with verizon for 9 years now and like the actual service i would be switching cell service. it litterally has me fuming i am sure there are people months behind on there bill that it would be alot more appropriate to be calling.

It can't be Verizon calling about a bill. I don't have Verizon & never did. In my entire life I have used only pre-paid phone cards, have never signed up for any phone service.

It's hard to believe that Verizon isn't a part of this.  I often pay my bill late (recession and all), and they only call when I'm late.  How would a scam artist know that?  Obviously, I would never give these people any information - only directly to Verizon.  I guess they just randomly hope to reach somebody with a late Verizon bill?

I have never picked up and answered their calls. I would have to agree with the people saying it is a scam though. This eased some of my fears because this scared me near shitless. Anywho, you can use a spamblocker that verizon has at www.verizonwireless.com/spamblocker

I haven't tested it, but it IS on the verizon site and is trustable.

It is a collection company outsourced by Verizon, which explains why it is not a Verizon number. If you log into your Verizon account and try to block it, it won't let you.

I called verizon about this, they told me it is not them. I dont understand why it doesnt stop, I filed complaints with the do not call list and the FCC.
