I listened to the recorded message and then pressed 1 when asked.  Matthew picked up and I told him to put me on their do not call list.  He then told me he was going to charge me 1.99 not to call again.  I asked how and he said it would o on my credit card. When asked which credit card he just said YOUR credit card.  I said he did not have my info and he said "alrighty sir" and then said they WILL get their money.  I just hung up at that point.

Credit card scammer. I have no credit cards at ALL! I am on the Do Not Call List (which apparently has been sold as it DOES NOT WORK). I also have an Unlisted phone number. I suppose those no longer exist.  Blocked this number from my phone. NOW they are calling under 616-613-2220. Blocked that number. Will see what happens. SPAM WITH PI.  It never ends!

Called my landline at 4:11pm CDT on 7/9/13, no message. Caller ID said "Bank Card Svcs". Doubtless one of those "lower your interest" scams.

It starts as a robo-call about credit card consolidation or something. Just a telemarketer as far as I can tell.

Just got the 20 milliont call.  Decide to stay on the line to get a human being and when I told her that I'd would like my name off the list because I was tired of this being the last call they would ever call me for she hung up.

Answered the call and pressed one to speak to a person.  Mark answered and I said (in a sweet tone), "Hi, Mark. I would like you to take me off your list." He said, "Why?" When I answered him he pressed a button trying to disconnect me. Turns out he just put me on hold. So when he answered again I gave him the same sugary sweet voice and said "Hiya Mark. Still me. And I still want my number removed." He screamed,  "Oh no you don't! " Then he hung up on me.

They also call from the number 616 613 2220. Same folk. It takes all kinds...

Never never never press the number to "take me off the call list". All you do is validate that they have reached a live number. They will then sell your number to other scammers and keep calling you.

Spam call; canned message. Lower your credit card bill ... as it relates to the stimulus package. On my cell phone which is on the DNC list. A**holes.

An automated recorded message called my phone on 6/25/13, 12:36 p.m. US Pacific Time. The Caller ID indicated "BANK CARD SRVCS." The recording said something about a "final notice" having to do with my "credit card." I immediately hung up and called the number back. Another recording answered and pretended to sound like an honest company with a phone menu giving the option to be removed from their call list. "Press 1 to be connected to one of our operators" or whatever. I pressed one, and the recording said all of their representatives were busy taking other calls and that I should leave a message. I doubt they even listened to what I had to say, which was some very unfriendly remarks. I'm in the process of tracing the precise location of the caller and absolutely cannot wait to pay them a visit in person to tell them what I think about their company.

"Press 1 to learn about the stimulus".  When call was answered a man asked if I'd like to learn how to lower my interest rates. I asked where he is calling from and he repeated his question. When I asked him again where he's calling from, he said, "Are you responding to lowering your interest rates? If not, then don't waste my f*cking time." I responded by demanding to speak to his supervisor and he told me to, "...take your finger and shove it up your a**hole." I have filed a complaint with the FCC. These companies are disgusting.

I just received a call saying the same thing all these others are complaining about since in Jan. 2013. If these people are using someone else's number would think they would have this cleared up by now. After all it's been 6 months and still going on. I do not appreciate these calls and have no credit cards.

I called the number posted in the quoted message 616-980-4140, spoke to a guy named Craig.  He said that the company that keeps coming up on my caller ID as "Credit Card Services" is a company that uses their lines.  He is filing a complaint with their corporate office to put a block on them calling me, but it will take up to 48 hours.  I get calls from this company at least once a day.  The company who owns the lines they use is called Lucre, but they are not the ones who call.  I would suggest that everyone calls and asks for the block to be put on.  It's harassment when you are on the Do Not Call list.

Guess what, folks:  The only thing we can do is vent!  None of the gimmicks mentioned will ever work; if you have a call blocker on your phone, use it; otherwise, just don't answer.

Keep making complaints to the no call list and the FTC. I'm sending a letter to our state inspector general. I urge each of you to do the same.

My husband mistakenly picked up on this number today thinking it could be coming from our "legit" banking service.  He failed to realize that we had been getting them for weeks and a lot of these calls pertain to someone we don't even know/heard of.  We are at the max on call blocking with our phone company but they were helpful today in coping our list to some type of control at their central office where it supposedly does not allow these numbers to even ring at our house.  There is no answer if you call back so therefore you cannot do what the Do Not Call registry says you must do to formally register a complaint.  I will not put in the company name that we have our service with as I can not say they allow or can't control but we did not have this problem with the provider we had before coming to this one.  We had no choice as our previous provider does not service our current area.

They called about lower rates on my credit cards. Strange they called my fax line not the number attached to any of the credit cards. Then I press one and the girl picks up and twists a few words and instead of starting over she hangs up. I wanted to lead them on for about ten minutes then call it off just to waste their time.

(616) 613-2126 is a useless, dunning, scheme to get consumers to "consolodate" their credit card debt. The company tqakes on the debt at high interest rates but lower payments so that the consumer is led to dig a deeper credit hole then he/she is already in.

Second call in a week.  Recording that says to hold as this is (like Craig reported) our "second and final" call.  When a person answered they asked if I had more that $3000 in credit card debt. I asked their company name and they hung up.  Filed my second Do Not Call registry complaint within a week.

The man calls and says he works for experian and than he can get me a lower interest rate.  I won't go into the 10 things wrong with that.  When pressed with questions and the fact that this is the 3rd call in a week in addition to the fact that I am on the do not call list, (This is the part that has never happened to me before usualy they just hang up on you)  he gets really quiet and says  'lady go %$#@ your *&^^% did you hear me go &^%$ yourself'   I tried to get him to stay on the line by saying excuse me while trying to find my whistle.  He hung up on me before I could find it.  i called the number back.  They don't answer.  If they call my house again, they better look out.  I found the whistle.  

You stay classy telemarketers!  I bet his mother is super proud!

CALL THE FTC TO COMPLAIN!  File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov.  Go to Consumer Protection, then File A Complaint, then click on the little picture of the phone to the left that says Do Not Call Registry, then File A Complaint and there is a little form.  The more people who file complaints the more chances there are they will get caught.

You need the date and time they called and the phone number they called to get you and the number they called from  (*69).

I continue getting calls to reduce my credit card interest, and supposedly this is the LAST call I will receive.  These have gone on and on and is very irritating.  Requests to stop calling do not have any effect.  I pay for my phone line.  These people should go out and find an honest job!
