So i finally got really mad after another day of calls that i finally did not let them speak when i picked up. I straight up said I WANT A SUPERVISOR NOW! I was left on hold for about 5- 6 mins and suprisingly a "supervisor" did pick up. Her name is Sharon Saroon and said that she was working on behalf of Bank of America. I said I dont know who it is they are looking for but to STOP calling. I am getting 6x calls a day and its very annoying.
She then apologized and told me she would put my on some "Do Not Call" list that they have and that if i wanted more info to call BOA at 18664333481. I havent called that number she gave me but she said i can call it to make sure Im off the list. So hopefully i do not receive anymore calls.

They've called at least three times today alone - usually leaving no message, but once a woman did speak into the answering machine asking for dh by name. It comes up as "AGI" on caller ID, but from the other comments I've read, I suspect that BoA is in cahoots with them somehow - evidently, this has been going on for a few years now, and if BoA were truly concerned about their reputation being besmirched by some scummy telemarketing company, they would have had plenty of time to take them to task by now.

am bank of america customer, can not believe we bailed these clowns out, so they could harass us at all hours.

This number has been calling my phone all day. I don't answer it because I do not know who it is. No name no answer! Also, if they want me that bad then they can leave a message.

i just got called by this number on my home phone. when i asked who was calling, someone named Joesph said he was calling on behave of AGI. the caller also asked if i wanted to take a survey. he then told me a bunch of random crap that i did not understand. when he was finished, i told him to put me on his do not call list. he told me he would put me on his do not call list, and if this number calls me agen, i will be calling my state attorney generals office!

Just got our first call from 616-980-4030. As above caller-id was AGI. I recently purchased an nice inexpensive Panasonic wireless phone which has ability to block up to 30 incoming calls. Time to test out its call-blocking feature.
I wish the individual states would implement a simple complaint site for pursuing these jerks. No point in having the feds do it. By the time they'd get around to it, we'd be living on another planet.

I get a call from this number about once every few days at my home #, but I usually don't answer the call....
It's almost 8:00 pm and a few minutes ago, I just got a call from them, asking for me (they knew my name) saying that he is from Bank Of America bla bla bla...wanting me to sign up for my credit report....bla bla bla... He wouldn't take no for an answer so I hung up....
I don't want BOA calling me after working hours...gonna contact BOA very soon about this.

Follow-up to my previous post of 3 November 2009.
The AGI 616-980-4030 phone spammers gave me a chance to test my recently purchased inexpensive Panasonic wireless phone which has the ability to block up to 30 different incoming phone numbers. As I expected (above) AGI tried again today. The Panasonic's call blocking worked as advertised and killed the call on the first ring.
I have checked with Bank Of America. They state that no such company (AGI) works for them and were concerned about the possible damage this company could do to their reputation. They took down the information I provided and indicated that it will be passed on to their legal department for further action. Anyone else so inclined might want to follow up with a call of their own. If you call their Customer Service number, ask for a manager and give him/her the info.
I wish the individual states would implement a simple complaint site for pursuing these jerks. No point in having the feds do it. By the time they'd get around to it, we'd be living on another planet.

AGI- Bank of America trying to sell "improved" identity theft and fraud protection for a one-time, low-low rate of $12.99/month.
Yeah, clearly banks just aren't getting enough of our money...
If they want to keep my money, perhaps they should provide this sort of service for their patrons anyway!!

This company keeps calling pretending that i have a dept that i do not have, keep calling twice a day.they better stop calling.

People DON'T SAY "YES" OVER THE PHONE to people who you DON'T know!!! This is VERY IMPORTANT! What telemarketers do is push a button when the person on the other line is asked to AGREE TO SERVICE. Instead of asking after their pitch they ask for your name...push the button...when you say "Yes" they hang up. Now they have documented proof you -supposedly- agreed to service. Get it? Got it? Good. ;)

Rcv calls from AGI 3xs a day. They are pleasant all the same.
CD 2011-06-06 20:52:53 Unknown
got a call from same # AGI. I asked if I could have a number to call them back at and was given 866-433-3481. I called the number and a recording picks up and mentions identity theft. Once what is perceived to be a live operator picks up, they ask for my full name, which of course I didn't give them and then I hung up.

Here is a great idea on stopping those telemarketing pests.
1. Use an answering machine and record the advertisement of a pornographic phone line that costs $xx.00 per minute to call.
2. Turn on that answering machine ONLY when you see on your calling ID caller that you don't want to pick up, and this caller is now a pest.
3. When the pests call in, they hear the pornographic hot line advertisement to call into a per-minute call. Some stupid telemarketers may just think that this is your new number, and call that pornographic advertisement's number. When the bill comes in for them to pay, it will be very expensive one.
4. If you have selective call forwarding, which you can program certain numbers who are pests, to forward them to an pornographic phone line advertisement, they will get the same message as you have recorded on your answering machine, only it will forward the call automatiacally without you need to do anything extra. Many internet phone companies have this selective call forwarding at no extra cost per month. I have it, and I have already placed 7 different "pests" to be forwarded to pornographic advertiser. Ha Ha Ha, they will be very frustrated at themselves to get into this. This is a spiceful tasty idea! Enjoy this fun idea, and tell all your friends/relatives to do the same.

I am averaging 5-6 calls per day from this number and it has been happening for over a month now. Every time I answer the call, there is no one on the other end. This is becoming very annoying.
I plan to get caller ID, so I will not have to answer the call when it comes in.

Looks like this has been going on for a long time, since your post is 2007. Now in March 2010, I'm getting numerous calls a day from this number showing on caller ID as "AGI".
When I answered, they said they were from "Bank of America" and asked if my husband could come to phone. I said "no". They ended called and have not called back since. We are on the "do not call" list.
If Bank of America was not the caller, as they indicated to you, they were not, they have done nothing about it in over 3 years. If it is a scam, using their name, then why don't they do something about it.
I also get numerous scams from email trying to get me to update info on account that is supposed to be "Bank of America" too.

I've been getting calls from this number, listed as "TN Removal Systems" for the past three days. I checked my messages today, and it was a long message that sounded like someone was sucking their teeth and then whistling. The message went on for about two minutes. I'm going to pick up if these calls continue tomorrow and find out more.
Lisa 2011-06-06 20:52:53 Unknown
We get calls 4 or 5 times a day from this #. Caller ID says AGI. We just answered it now and they hung up or put you though a long list of clicks in which case we hung up. Very irritating. Going to BLOCK
Bo Wright 2011-06-06 20:52:53 Unknown
They call 3 or 4 times a day. Won't leave a message. I'm on the do not call list.
Boggsie 2011-06-06 20:52:53 Unknown
Would get calls numerous times a day for many days, would never leave a message. Answered it one time, the man gave a name and said he was from Bank of America even though caller id is showing "AGI". He asked urgently if my husband could come to phone. When I said "no", he ended call and there have been no more calls since then.

WOW!! This has been going on for over 3 years? Why hasn't the government put a stop to all this stupid phone calls? I also get AGI and other various numbers everyday!! This needs to stop! How do I get on the "NOT TO CALL" list? Anyone know?
Stephanie 2011-06-06 20:52:53 Unknown
They call every single day at 9 am. They hang up before I can them to remove our number. I tried to call the 616-980-4030 back, but it went to a local cell phone number??? I'm sure it is a scam. I tried to find their website to get another number for the company but did not find anything. I want these calls to stop!
