Caller I.D. says "San Diego 619-308-0883". It was a young woman who says she represents Kansas State University. Claims to be a junior in school. She knew I hold a Masters Degree in Physics from KSU and she also had my mailing address. Asked me to contribute $100 and wanted me to pay with a credit card. Sort of hard sell. Yeah, sure. I'm going to give some anonymous broad on the phone a credit card number? I'm not real bright, but I don't think so.
I'll be curious to see if there are further posts about this number. If you know something, please post it.

I called this number back after having just missed the call (no message was left) and it was a... Tella prompter? A machine that says 1 for english 2 for spanish. After pressing 1 it tells me to enter my card number followed by the pound sign. Scam artist
