Apparently these calls are going around. I went yesterday to the police and filled a fraud report and gave them all the information. By law if its a law firm or collections company they can not harrass or threaten you no matter what and documentation must be sent home to you. They have called and threatened me to send the information to my work and fire me. So once I told them I put in the report they stopped calling. They also gave me the office address and I looked it up on the internet and the office is real but its a scam. The lawyer from that firm told me that he has received hundreds of call of these scammers using his information to get money off innocent people. Sad how do people sleep at night :(

I am getting call from this guy calling himself Paul Williams over a puppy scam. Not sure yet what they are going to threaten me with. I was on hold for a long time so I just hung up. I have so far been threatened with a $6,000.00 lawsuit for violating NY puppy laws over a non-existent puppy that was supposed to be in AL. But have to admit I am a little scared.

Hey they had my social securty and thy got me $500. Who do I report this and what can I do about my social security #.   :(

yes they have your address and last digits to your social be careful people these scam artist will try to get you.let them know your on to them.call the bbb on them

got a call from this number stating they were filing fraud charges on me for nonpayment of a payday loan to US Cash Advance.  i know of no such loan.  the guy proceeded to threaten me and told me i would be going to jail if i didnt pay.  i told him i would only reply to a written notice, so he thanked me and hung up.

If you do receive a phone call from this number DO NOT under ANY circumstances confirm your social.  That is how they get you.  This IS a total scam.  They called me today and stated that they were calling to let me know that I had been sued as well and wanted me to confirm my social.  I did not confirm it and then they would not tell me anything else about it and hung up.  

I did contact my local state's attorney's office as well as my attorney generals office and they are looking in to it.  Also was told my the attorney general to notify the credit bureau and put a fraud protection on my credit.

call your local Attorney General's office.  They will take care of everything.

did they have the last 4 digits of your social

I got a call from this number and this guy told me I had 3 criminal charge pending in California. I don't live in California... Is there anyway I can report him becuase he had the last 4 digits of my social..

This guy called me claiming to be a law office and they were sueing me for a pay day loan i did not pay .. i told him i knew this was a scam and he said thank you and hung up immediatly... I'm not afraid of these scam artists anymore ..WHen you get a call from this number .. let them know , you already know
