They called my Mom and said that she owed $300 from a credit card that my father signed up for about 8-10 years ago. They said it was a VISA and named the company the card was by but we were all unfamiliar with it.They also told her that if this went to court it could be up to $3000. I'm not sure it was a scam because I am still trying to find that out but something didn't feel right about it.

They claim it is a mortgage claim and I need to have my attornet contact them today.  I know it is a scam.
