I was called and a msg was left. Female voice arrest me at home or work just like the others. I KNOW that is not legit - so I came here to tell y'all. Call an idiot - not me.

This FEMALE. called me this morning saying the same thing that I would b arrested at my home or wk in Monday morning.... wanted me to money gram them money... saying they r representing cash net.....when I asked for their business number she got rude and hung up..number is now not working..... scam scam scam..... scared me and not happy

Got a MESSAGE saying a Claim has been filed against you and you will be arrested.  I called that number back and no answer.  This is ridículous that's not how things operate in this country!

Received a voice mail left at 7:00 a.m. from a woman who said that I have a complaint filed against me and I will be arrested either at my home or business. She didn't say who she was nor did she identify who the name of the person was that they are trying to get a hold of. The telephone number she left was 619-577-4657 and when you call it back, it states that the number isn't set up to receive messages.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

The woman that called said I was to appear at court on Monday or else I would be arrested I live in Washington state and have never been to California this is not a fun call seeing that I am a single mother with 3 kids who ever this woman is needs to be stopped!!

I received the phone call about 1:04 pm and she stated I was going to jail in hour and they would show up at my place of employment or my home. She wanted me to confirm my home address, my name, and my date of birth. Which I exclaimed to her if you been appointed to represent whoever this is. You should have my information so why want you tell me who you are and she responded back. Either I can explain to you what's going or I can hand up. So, I told her please go ahead tell me what this is about and she said some unpaid debt that occurred from 2012-13 (medical bills, hospital bills, check Net-cashing something) So I am screaming you have the wrong person. She yells back...I was like I have no idea what your talking about she said you were notified back in Feb. 14 regarding this 980.00 debt that now its 5700.00 with court and lawyer fees added. I then let my mother listen to call and she hangs up. We tried numerous times to call back and she finally answered and when my mom asked what firm she was with she hangs up again. I have not been able to get her back on the phone and she does her my voice she hangs up on me. I have notified the police department and the news station. I want be harrassed and no one else should either. You want to scam someone for money why not get a REAL JOB!!

I had received a call from this number, someone calling himself a lawyer named Alan Brown, telling me that I will be arrested, I just laugh and told him, oh really? so tell me why because I am a Judge, and he cut. I will reported to the police anyway

This is NOT a prank call.  These scammers are using intimidation tactics in an attempt to get you to pay them some money for some bogus debt or for some other bogus reason.

I got a automated woman too. Said they had a legal action against me. And I would be arrested from my current residents or place of work. And she would see me at the courthouse.... This is so not funny since I operate a daycare from home and I'm six months pregnant. So not funny.

I just received the same call! She does not say where she is calling from or anything just "see you in court."

Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.

I got the same phone call & tried to call back with no response.

Automated woman voice calls and leaves a voicemail saying I will be arrested at home or work and I am to appear in court. I called back the number and it always says the line is busy.
