They, no it, the robot called and said I had won a prize only available to "telus only" customers.  I didn't press one.  Since the baddies used telus in their pitch I phoned telus on 611 and asked what I had won.  Yes it was a scam.  BUT since they  had used my providers name in their pitch, the report was passed on to their security people to investigate further.  When all else fails, make it someone else's problem.

missed call, no message

I got a call from this number while i was doin something but when i called it back no later than a minute later it said it was a disconnected number!!

Phone rang from this number - no msg left; called back, disconnected number.

I got a call from this same number as well. Didn't asnwer it and they left no message. Why are they calling so many people?

i got a call from this number at 6:05 pm in San Diego on today, June 30. I didn't pick up as I was driving.  I had just written to a long lost best friend so i looked up the number to see if it was her and found other people had received a same missed call from Kansas City.  I also run my own business but only advertise on yahoo locals so I'm not sure where or who this number is from.

Got a missed call. Investigated.

Turned out to be 1) spanish 2) Telus 3) prize 4) activated by mechanized directory-scanner 5) intention: scam 6) result: 1 if person called, which results in forwarding your number to other directory-scanners; 0 if person does not call, which has unknown result, presumably negative action 7) if 0, may repeat itself and call again 8) appears to be scanning upon a fixed but randomized directory (cannot figure out its algorithm).

CONTINUE TO GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER........SOMEONE SPEAKING SPANISH

phoned today.  company cel # which means they could only get this through Telus themselves or no?

first I heard some noise as if there was a real person. Then, there was an automated message in spanish, which I did not understand.

I answered the call.  It was a recording with a women speaking spanish.  I don't speak spanish.  I listed to see if I would hear anything in english, nope... The call ended on it's own.

i got call from 6206998989 and on my caller id name was READING KS. When i call back this #. Automated answer service said this # is not in service !!!!!!!

called my 650 area code AT&T cell phone. Empty voicemail left, didn't recognize caller ID and did not answer.

I received a call from this number today at 6:38pm PST, they did not leave a message. When I called back I also heard the message that the number was disconnected. It seems they are calling folks on the west coast, specifically the Bay Area. Odd.

got a call and they said I was a preferred telus customer and I won a vacation.  I hung up.

Same as Mark and Tom, but I tried to answer the call and nobody was on the other end.  Tried calling back on a landline and the number is out of service.  I dont even know anybody in Kansas.

got a recorded message in spanish... i have a San Francisco cell phone...

sounded like someone pocket dialed me for about 2 seconds, then a recorded spanish message.  I hung up because I thought it might be a Spanish collect call.

they called and when I went to answer it was in spanish. So I hung up then they called back the next day and I was at work so I couldnt answer it and they didnt leave. So when I called it back after work it said the number was disconnected I always get weird calls from weird numbers

I just got a call from this #. It was an automated machine that said i won a prise. I never trust these calls so I put the phone down.

This number called my cell phone.  I also had a prerecorded message saying I won a vacation as a 'preferred rogers customer' and that I should press 1 to learn more, I hung up and when I called back the number indicated that it was not in service.  It seems that it may be a spoof number because on my call display, when it was ringing, there was a series of other numbers that followed it, but in call history these were not listed.

Called this day claiming it was a call to due wt Telus, and I had won a trip...
