These jacktards have been calling every f'ing day for about a month. I usually pick up the phone, rub it in my crotch and moan a bit. No one is ever on the other end. I really wish death upon such individuals who resort to telemarking, oh, excuse me, harassment to make a living. When I've had too much to drink, I really let them have it and try to make them feel lower than an anal fissure.

Just got a call from this number, caller ID said "Arizona", a guy answered asking for "Nancy" the woman who had my number before me. I get calls for her all the time, I think she had bad credit, so I thinkthey guy may have been a collections person.  The guy who answered had an accent and couldn't hear me very well.  when I told him he had the wrong number he disconnected.  The number wont let me call back, so that's all I've got.

They called 04-28-09 at 11:25 am.  No one home

Then they called at 7:40 pm.  On a lark, I picked up.  Indians:

Me:  Hello?
Indian:  Greetings, Mr. Homeowner, are you the Man of the House?
Me:  What are you babbling about?
Indian:  We are concerned about your security and your break-ins.  Do you have the Security Alarms?
Me:  Do you know what "get bent" means?
Indian:  We are interested only in security, not language.
Me:  Ok then, get bent. <Click>

I got this call at work today. When I anwser it I heard the call transfer to a person that said hello and then hung up. My co-worker got the same call a few minutes later

Just got a call from 1-623-238-6139. Arizona was where it was from..nobody on the line. Called it back and got a rapid busy signal.

got a call from this number,caller id said phoenix,az.they didn't leave a message.when i called it back i got a busy signal. I live in MA.

Got a call from this number, Caller ID said OUT OF AREA, and when I answered it, it sounded like a ring back, so I hung up

this number called and left no message   i tried calling it just now and got the recording, "your number cannot be placed as dialed"   i tried once more and got the same recording.   they might have disconnected this one.  yeaaaaa

Received a call this afternoon- but didn't make it to the phone in time to pick up. Perhaps engaging these people in a conversation and "providing" them with the local Police Department's address and "non emergency" number (or that of an area news station) could be helpful.  Our number is on the "Do Not Call" list and is unpublished as well.

I just received a call at 1:53 PM.  I'm also in CT but NOT on the shoreline.

I was getting these calls last year about 4-5 times a day.  They stopped for about 4 months or so and seem to have started up again.

I am in CT. Received a call at noon.  Called ID said Home Land. I did not answer. Caller said hello and then hung up without further message.  They seem to be picking on CT residents.

Just curious---for any of those who had this experience (myself included), is your cell/home phone under the Do Not Call List? Mine is, and our phone is under AT & T, but....just seems fishy indeed.

I also live in CT by the way, on the coast, if that makes any difference. And we got what I guess will be our first call just ten minutes ago.

I have been getting this call for weeks now.  At least once a day.  My number is  from NY State, but I had transfered to my cell phone in Atlanta.  I have filed a complaint on DoNotCall.gov.  Please do so, as this may provide some relief.

Over the past 3 weeks I have been flooded with calls from this #. Some guy speaking Indian asking for $. Immediatly after this call I would get another call from WTS2001 and the same guy reading from the same cue card asking for $. THIS IS ILLEGAL !!!. Looking at the latest postings hgere it seems in 2007 most of the calls from this # was in Connecticut. I guess Massachusetts is being targeted in 2008. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE.

We have recieved a call from this number on our old 7 digit emergency lines at the dispatch center for 911 in Franklin County New York. We also get the recording for this number is out of our area and unable to be reached. Hence my search for the number on the internet, which lead me to making this comment....We have been getting this call- three to four times a day for over 10 days now!!!

Mine said homeland also and I am in NY... when I called it back, the woman who picked up said that it was a grocery store???

This was my first call and I knew immediatly this was a scam. He said he was from GE but he had a hard to understand European accent. Something like german or hungarian. I think GE, being an American company, would have a telemarketer who had a greater command over the English language. Plus, it sounded like a kid with a fake accent to boot! I'm so glad there are other people out there who googled this phone #. It's a shame that some senior citizens might fall for this bs. Tell your grandparents/parents to be aware!

I just had this on my home number....live in CT also, but work in Boston....Most likely someone overseas with a caller ID block....programs are pretty cheap to do this sort of thing.....I wouldn't worry about it....if worse comes to worse and you are un-easy about it, call and report it to the police.....

I'm in Fitchburg, Ma. I got a call from this number today. I called back three times, each time someone answered and hung up...weird...and annoying!

Call a day for the last 2 weeks.  Caller claims to be a GE Rep., very bad english, heavy accent, my guess is India to. Asks if I remember a survey about smoke and CO detectors I participated in, didn`t happen I don`t take phone surveys. Played along and was told my survey was entered in a drawing, I WON!! A free $1200.00 security system from GE. Free installation all I would have to pay for was monthly monitoring, about $30.00/month. At this point the supervisor was put on the line and it was then I forcefully requested my name and or number be removed from his database.  That was 4/30/08 we`ll see.

Caller identified herself as Julia, calling for General Electric.  She referred to a survey, which I had supposedly taken, which was entered into a drawing and I had won.  If I was a homeowner, which I didn't confirm, I had supposedly won a General Electric security system.  (Don't even know if GE makes home security systems).  When I asked her what her phone number was, she couldn't answer.  She said she didn't know.  Her voice had an Indian accent.  She had no further response and hung up on me.  Imagine that.  GE must be real happy with someone using their name like this.  BTW, I never took a survey (which she suggested that people often forget).

I rec'd a call from 623-238-6139 on my cell this morning and again this afternoon. The 2nd time I picked it up and it was a man with a Middle Eastern Accent, he asked about fire detectors. I had a fit and said, " I want my number removed from your list, you are violating the 'Do Not Call" policy and I will be reporting you!"

Who ever it was was still talking as I hung up on him!

this "unknown" caller calls my cell phone 10 times a day average.  Never answer when I say hello. There is alot of static noise in background.  When I try to call there is always a recording saying that I can't call this number from my calling area no matter what type of phone line I use. I'm in Chicago, il.

General Electric doesn't know about all the subcontractors they have doing illegal telemarketing. Call them at 1-888-GE SECURITY (437-3287) and ask to be taken off the list. Be persistent and don't hang up until they take your information. If enough people bother them, they might clamp down on their vendor partners.

Just got a call from this guy with an Indian accent. I asked if they were selling anything. They said no. I asked what they did want. He said I had participated in a survey (not true) and that he was calling back. I told him to remove me from his list and then hung up.

They started calling yesterday.  I don't have perfect credit but everyone I've owed money to usually picks up when I call the number back.  I called the number back and it disconnects

The phone rang, no one was there.  We're in Virginia.  Our caller ID said "Arizona".
