I have just sent off a lengthy letter to the Maryland Attorney General office with a link to this website included.

There have been other companies violating the Do Not Call list in the last year and it appears they are hiding behind the "idea" that if they only call you once or twice they can get away with violating the Do Not Call list.

Write your attorney general's office where ever you are.
Once you have the address... create a form letter so every time you get these annoying calls you can just pull it up and send a complaint .

These companies are relying on the fact that only 1 in 1000 complain...
So make it easy for you to take action.

Same general experiences as above, but they always call during the workday when I am not home anyway.  They just get my answering machine.  But they are persistent.  The computer is now calling me twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon; not always the same times.  And to make the situation more ridiculous, I am already a COMCAST subscriber, although I sure wish I had other choices.  The fax machine idea was a good one.  But what we really need to stop this nonsense is either some enforcement of the no-call law (preferred), or for somebody to come up with the private phone number for a VP at COMCAST or VERIZON and then for all of us to have our phones set up to automatically forward all these calls to one or both of them, since they are supporting this harrassment.

I receive calls from this number every day.  I never answer yet the calls keep on coming.

I get calls from 623-238-6147 every day. When I pick up the phone, nobody says anything.  It is annoying.  Nobody has time for such calls.  If I need to do business with this number, I would contact them.

Called every day for over a week.  I did answer today and after short silence a male introduced himself and the company...Comcast...offering a deal on their VoIP product.  He was pleasant and surprised that the caller ID said Arizona.

Guys, all you got to do is either look over your caller ID and if it is that number, do not answer, eventually, it will stop. The computer that is making the phone calls to all Vonage and Verizon customers. If you dont answer eventually the computer skip your number or never dail it again. On the other hand, if you have a fax machine, connect your line to it and let the machine pick it up when you see the caller ID, that will make the computer think is a fax line and it will never bother you again. Receiving several calls from this number every day. No one on other line.

I am getting two to three calls everyday from telephone number 623-238-6147. The number is assigned to Comcast in Arizona. I have called the number and asked that they discontinue the calls. Looks like my request has been ignored as I continue to get the daily pbone calls. Now I file a complaint with DoNotCall.gov everytime I get a call.

I recieved a hangup call this morning. I just called 623-238-6147 back. It's Comcast!

I receive a call from this number every day between 9:30-10:00 Am EST. When I pick up, there is no one on the other end. I am also on the do not call list.

Have gotten several calls from this number, all times of day/night. I am on the national do not call list....

Constantly getting calls from this number.  There is noone on the other end if I pick it up.
