A guy with this number is now trolling around on dating websites like Match.com. Pretty sure he hijacked some guys facebook page. Total haitian accent, and yet the guy on FB is a white soldier. I would let this soldier know, but then my info goes up and I have no idea how much access this scammer has to this guys FB page. Don't need the creep to know anything more about me than he already does. Reported it to the dating website. All I can say is it sounded fishy and thank God this page exists and now I know that trusting my gut is a good thing. Anyone have an idea on how to let this guy n FB know that his profile is being used without divulging my FB info let me know...

I just got a call too.  They kept calling back and I hung up.  Just before I got a call from a 832-397-6170 number about a resort.  They didn't use my name but I didn't really give them a chance to talk.

I just got a call from this number and they were asking me if I knew the Phoenix area and some hotel here. I said I wasn't interested and to take my number off the list. He said I wasn't going to be involved with anything and I insisted that he take me off the list.. I hung up. He called back and he asked "if I liked to suck D**k.. My boyfriend in turn took the phone and they haven't called back. They called me by my name on the first call.. I called a friend that is a police officer before looking up the number online.. I hope he is able to help find out more.. This is ridiculous..

u cant do anything.. its an app for iphone, ipad, ipod....i just downloaded it and i saw how it works.
the people who are calling you guys are either your friends or someone who is bored and randomly dialed your number. i keep getting a call like everyday. its annoying. u just have to wait until they get bored and stop.  its a bummer but o well. s*** happens when you party naked !!!!!!!!!

they r scam artist

they called us saying if we went to an open house we could get a free vacation.  after we said we weren't interested, they kept rambling on.  we hung up.  they called back.  we hit ignore.

What should we do in this case ?

Called saying they were from the highland resort?? could barley understand their "accent" and rambled on about a 3 day vacation that costs no money. No legit company calls at 9 pm.

623-240-9997 is a MagicJack app free phone number.  Anyone who has an iphone, ipod, or ipad can download a free MagicJack app from Apple iTunes, and make free phone calls anywhere in the US over their wifi internet connection.  Anyone using this app whose wifi internet connection is in the Phoenix metro area will have their phone calls originated from this 623-240-9997 number.  In other words, this phone number is not associated with any one person -- it could be anyone who is using the MagicJack app on their iphone, ipod, or ipad.   So it could be a friend of yours or it could be junk.

this number is calling and harrassing my phone.  NO THANK YOU.

Blocked the number called 3 times at 2:00 in the morning and each time answered no one responded

Just recently got a call from them at 3am. They said their name was Jaden and they got my number from random numbers. Then he called me baby and told me he loved me. Very awkward.

Called me at 3:30 in the morning.  Knew my name and what beer I like.  They said it was Joe, but I don't even know anybody named joe.  Then the same person called my wifes phone from a different number, then called a friend of my asking about me.

they called with a threatening tone and warned me to watch my life.

Selling Drugs!

Has my name and phone number saying there is a warrant for my arrest and to call 888-925-2664 with a case number thru maricopa county when its not a valid case number. And that this was the third attempt to be served.

Caller rang repeatedly.  Each time volume was WAY low.  Made out that caller said they were calling from 'Magic Jack'.  I told to call back on cell phone.  They asked if we had Skype?  This is a business they are calling.  WTF?  Researched the number and its a scam.  Harrassed some single mom for a debt she didn't owe.  Be warned.
