Doubt its Amex. They call and hang up each time, and never leave a message. Just because you call back and you get a voice message saying its Amex, doesn't mean it is. Very easy for it to be connected with scammers. When I had an account with Amex, they always left a message.

I don't have AmEx - so if it is them, I don't know why they are calling. I wouldn't count on this being a legitimate call.

This is yet another of American Express' collection call phone numbers. Yes, I'm a little behind on my AmEx bill (dates back to an injury earlier this year when I had to miss work). That obviously means that they should call me a zillion times each day.

Just a call to my Google Voice number, no message left for me. Appears to be from American Express.
