I have received several calls from them, they ask a trivia question then enter you into a $1000 drawing.  Then they offer a free carpet or upholstery  cleaning.  When I tell them this an apartment they quickly hang up.  I think they are a carpet cleaning business and will give you a free cleaning then upsell other options i.e. pet stain removal, carpet protector.  My advice is they do not seem reputable and I can't find them on BBB.org so tell them you live in an apartment and hopefully they will remove your number.

I get calls like this one all day long.  They are not telemarketers, in my estimation.   They are prank callers.

I keep getting calls from an org called Sun West. They come from different numbers, this was the latest 623-582-9549. If I answer I have gotten dead air, hang ups and the last time a fellow saying he had a survey and that there was a contest with a drawing in April. He first asked a question about what movie had won for best picture, and I think all three choices had, then he asked about first name, was I living in an apartment or a house, and if I drove a foreign or a domestic car. Then he disconnected without trying to obtain address, phone number ect. Call Made me uncomfortable. because I know they were phishing, I'm just not sure how.

Called today and hung up upon getting my answering machine,

No there are not tons of them with that name and number, and I respectfully disagree when you say to ignore this.
Abuse always increases as we become more complacent and indifferent. As a pissed off gun owner, I am sure you understand the value of protecting your privacy.

If you are on the do not call registry you can file a complaint, which I have done.

I just got a call from this number and the woman starts her script and says "I have to read you this..." I said "No! Hold on, don't you know about the do not call registry?", to which she responded "Don't get smart with me!" and hung up.

So in addition to an undesirable intrusion that violates the law and the privacy of my home, I get insulted!

got a call from this number last night.  Telling me about a free gift from Sun Care.  she wanted all my info.  I asked her name.  She said her name was Raquel.  I told her I do not and will not any info over the phone... Then she started getting very very very rude.  I asked for the manager and she said NO.  I hung up after that.  Then the same phone number continues to call with no one there.  

Got a call from this Sun West number today and from 623-582-9549 two days ago. No message on machine. No sense googling the name, there are tons of them.

Just another scammer to ignore.

Getting daily calls, sometimes 2-3x/day from an outfit called Sun West...all 623 area codes.  I block their numbers each time they call, but they seem to have endless 623 numbers.  Other ones they have used are 623-434-6875; 623-434-6795; 623-434-6880.  When you pick up after a few rings, no one is there.  If you let it go to voicemail, there is never a message.

I actually talked to a woman on the 6880 number today when I answered it on the first ring.  Let her know I was annoyed with all of their calls, I was on the do not call registry, and to remove my number from their calling list.  I was not remotely interested in anything they were selling or giving away.  She talked right over me, asked if I had received their free gift (said I didn't want a free gift!)...anyway a hopeless exchange...never did figure out what their scam was...just hung up and blocked that particular number.  Then a couple of hours later they called using another number, so let it go to voicemail, then blocked it.  Hope they run out of numbers soon, as my free call blocking service is getting full thanks to them!
