I missed the call too, and no message was left. I've received several auto warranty calls (different numbers) and I don't even have a car, so I don't answer when I don't recognize the number.

I got the call just a few minutes ago.  Same deal about car warranty expiration.  I did a phone book search and this came up:

My number is also on the do not call list.

I received a call from this number (it was a missed call).  I tried to call back and got a message that the number was disconnected.

Same story.  Repeated calls about expiring warranty.

Same story as everyone else. Am located in california, and have been getting these calls for about a year now. If it's a scam, I don't know what it is. I can't talk to a representative, they're not selling anything, there's no way to get in contact with anyone.... Not sure what the story is.

I keep getting a call from this number on my Cell of all phones.   I should call this number all times of the day.

they called twice last night, 20 minutes apart.  i didn't answer. got a fast busy when i tried to call back.  how annoying.

I have gotten two calls from this company at my work. The first time I just hung up on them and now they are calling two days later and leaving a message, but not saying anything.  This company should be reported for bad behavior and stoped. It is VERY annoying!!!

No message left, called me on the 15th @ 6:32PM. Glad I didn't answer.

I just got another call.  This is a scam.  Street Insurance.  It's bogus.

Got a call from this number a short while ago, didn't answer and no message was left. I did however recently renew my vehicle registration, so it's likely that Christina is right about how they are getting their information.

Auto warranty scammers again

Received a call on my cell phone from this number at 4:22pm on 10/17/08.  Not recognizing the number, and having received several similar calls in the last month, I simply opened and closed my flip phone, disconnecting the call.  As long as they are going to annoy me and waste my minutes, I will keep hanging up.  Caller id showed 623-932-1465, which, when googled, shows up as a listing for Monica Alverze (623) 932-1485 at 525 E Harrison Dr, Avondale, AZ 85323

rejected the call when it rang, no voicemail left. have received previous unknown calls from out of state, I've never answered, they've never left voicemail.

I got it on my cell phone - I didn't answer since
Barack Obama has been trying to push "change" without a plan
and spread the wealth plans via phone calls.  
It's the season for unwanted calls.

If you don't recognized the number, don't answer.  Simple as that.  If they won't leave a voicemail, it wasn't important anyway.

Got a call from this number about an hour ago.  No voicemail, no problem.

My phone shows that they called me at 12:11PM, 10-17-08, PST, but they didn't leave a voicemail. I bought my car in March of 2007 and had I answered I am sure a recording would want to sell me extended warranty coverage. It seems likely that the auto dealership sold my number.

I have never bought nor owned a car. I've had this number for 5 years. It is not an Arizona number.

Got the same call from 208-875-1597...

I took the ride because these guy have been callin my cell and went to the next level, where they asked, make model, VIN and millage.  When I said I was not in front of my car for the VIN and millage and could I call them back, they hung up.

I live in Canada and have been receiving phonecalls from a number 613-932-0365. They claim they are calling from a bank (which my husband has an account with) and are offering identity theft protection. I googled the number and a message board similar to this one popped up...  all the messages here are the same as the other that I found (they beat around questions asked, when you call back its a busy signal etc....) I called the bank and since the number cannot be tracked in anyway he told me to request to be taken off the list.  Its funny though, there is an another number that calls all the time saying they are a telephone survey company, ask for my husband by first name only and hang up when I say he isn't home.

If this number calls speak a different language if you can (like spanish or french, or make one up!) This discourages them from calling you marking you as "foreign"
