I just got this same call and found this site while he was talking to me.
The person in question is a male and impersonating a Dish Network company.
He was asking for my SS# and name and such.
Key note is if anyone asks for your SS# over the phone such as this or in any case do not give it out.
This is the reason it was taken off the Alabama State ID.

It is illegal for a sales call to be made over the phone via voice recording. When I got the call with this message, I spoke a button to speak with a representative. I kindly informed him what they were doing was wrong, and he told me it was free service for life.
Long story short, I asked for a web site. He gave me the web site for a pornographic site, and when I realized that based on the name alone, he laughed and said it was his favorite. I told him I wanted to speak with his supervisor and he taunted me repeatedly. Unfortunately for him, I know how to track his agency, and I'm going to take them down.

The options to be removed from their calling list does not work and when you speak to a representative to be removed from the list they tell you to select option 9 and hang up on you. I am planning to file criminal charges against the owner of that number. The company who issued that number is Digitcom Services, a cellular provider.
