626-431-2632 CALLED MY CELL REPATLY TODAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK. NO MESSAGE LEFT. I CALLED BACK FROM MY CELL AND WORK NYUMBER ON MY BREAK...DEAD AIR..NO RING TONE OR VOICE MAIL...JUST DEAD AIR. I GOOGLE THIS NUMBER AND FOUND THIS BLOG. I WILL BE CONTACTING INDYAC BANK AND LETTING THEM PAY FOR THE EXCESSIVE AIRTIME USAGE ON MY CELL!!!!!

I too have a loan with those fools, And yes they are one of the worst banks out there.

I am also harrassed by this number.

I get calls from this number ALL the time.  No one answers when I pick up, and when I call back it is a dead line.  I have an Indymac loan just as the others.  Since Indymac is "crank" calling thousands of people, isn't there some sort of remedy to stop the abuse?

Automated dialer for Indymac Federal Bank. If you pickup it will transfer you to a live rep, they won't leave a voicemail.

Yep, I have an indy mac loan as well, and this number called me.

Indymac keeps calling me, I call the 1800-781-7399 number and keep telling them to remove me from the call list, I don't have anything with them, they said they will and NEVER DO....they ARE PS...ING ME OFF!!

OOoo same here.. I have Indymac bank & someone from the #626-431-2632 has been calling a couple of times a day for about a week! Even on the weekend.. They shouldn't be calling like this.. it is very annoying!

somebody called me from 626-431-2632. When I called the number back I did not hear any ring tone. Nothing. I would like to know who this person is.

Thanks to google and the comments posted here, I now know it was Indymac attempting to call me.  The Rep from this company explained they are trying to help certain homeowners finance their homes with a better loan rate.  Call Indymac directly and see if you can get a better deal...

I love Google!  I just received a call from this number on my cell and figured I would google it to see who it was.  I also have Indymac.

I received a call today at work on my direct line from 1-626-431-2632.  They left no message and calling it back yields dead air.  I too have an IndyMac loan. Ugh!  How did they get my direct line?  Grrr...

Just got a call from this number also and I have an IndyMac loan... A voice mail was left with dead air. Same exact thing happened to me on January 7th. I think they want me to refinance or something, last time I use them for a loan.

I have received this call several times lately on my cell phone.  I also have an IndyMac loan, so thanks everyone for solving this puzzle.  They've never said anything to me either.  I only wish they would get their phones working, since I have to run for the phone each time.  It's very annoying.

yeah, indymac makes sense.  They have done that to me in the past.  I just got two phone calls from them today.  They are the worst bank (and quite possibly worst company in general) that I have dealt with as far as customer service is concerned.  The only worse one might be Bank Of America.

I just received a call from the same number, and I've experinced the same issue. This time, I answered by saying "Hello" 3 times, and did not get a response.

I received a call from this # February 8,2009.  Caller ask for me and I replied "speaking".  Caller then starts repeatedly saying "Hello" as if he couldn't hear me and the call was lost.  I called back to receive no ringtone but my cell showed I was on an active call.  I conducted this google search of the number and found numerous postings similiar.  I was hestitant to answer when the same # appeared calling me 4 hours later however I answered.  It was Indymac Bank my mortgage company asking to switch my interest free loan to a fixed.  I told the rep about my findings on the internet and he explained that they have an automatic dialer which sometimes doesn't operate very efficiently.

Been recieving these calls for like a week straight now!  My Husband has a mortgage through Indymac bank, but my name is not on it at all, so I can't figure out how they have my number or why they are calling me. I will be answering tomorow though and find out wtf it's about.  Sometimes they call twice in a row, I called it back and heard no ringing or noise at all.  Anoying and I'm sick of it!

I think it's indymac.  Just got my first call from this number.  They have been calling me from their other number too.   800-781-7399.
