thank you for posting this! he called me this morning, and i told him to call back at 1 pm when i could do my own research on this...he called at exactly 1 pm on the dot. by then i had done my research and basically told him i wasnt interested and he yelled at me! so i told him to eff off and hung up. hopefully he cant access my info, i never logged on with him, but he knew where i lived and my name...

This place is a S C A M.  I'm reporting them to HP when I'm done here.  I called from a google search for HP.com.  The second sponsored ad is this place:  http://www.myphonesupport.com/HP  The have HP after the slash and I needed help with my scanner and computer so I called them and talked to a guy named BHOLA (voice is India).  BHOLA immediately had me log him in my system and took over.  He told me that my scanner is fine from his end.  I asked several times if he was HP because he kept saying that I need to take my computer to a service dealer in my city.  I told him this didn't sound right because every time I have talked to HP, they were willing to send me a box or would make me rewrite items to get languages to work.

long story short, he kept showing me things that were making my computer run slow and for 299.00, they could fix it.  I said i couldn't afford this and can buy a new laptop if this was the case.  He then said 100.00.  He pointed out geek squads "high prices" and how I should let them fix it by paying with a credit card.  He said that people could steal my information.  I told him no and I had to go.  He said he would call back in 1 hour. He called back in 15 minutes and asked me to log him in again.  I said no and he cannot be HP and he is a fraud. He also tried to call back from another number.

He placed some type of problem in my computer through internet.  None of my pass codes work and when I looked deeper, he still had some type of link in my computer.  I'm using this from firefox until my friend get here to redo my hard drive.  I also used Spybot search and destroy but only certain files could be destroyed thanks to this thief.  I don't do online banking so I'm grateful for that but these people are dangerous and need to be reported.  

I hope to contact everyone about these people because they are acting like HP and ripping people off.  He has disconnected the connection with my printer too out of spite.  Stay away and never use them.
