Called my cellphone this afternoon. I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

Called my cellphone today. Answered the call and got silence.  Called the number back and was told it was "Todd from Sideline Sports with a free pick on a basketball game".  I hung up.

This guys keeps calling me.

it's a mafia-related betting service. I've tried for 6 years to get these a**holes to stop calling me, they just hang up and call me again.

I got this call today 3-24-10 at 6:15pm Eastern. It only rang twice and hung up. I was going to answer because I do business in the LA area so it could have been work-relayed. haha guess not. idiots.

just called me 04-05-10.  rang twice and hung up.  probably the same betting service - no idea how they got my number, but i've told them (different number0 to stop calling).

DO NOT call these guys back or ask to be taken off their list - they WON'T remove you, and calling to ask only confirm to them that they have a valid phone number. I store the number in my caller ID with the name "bookie" so I can let it go directly to voice mail whenever they call. Eventually they'll get tired of calling.
