Just got a call from these guys, and was thankful that Google led me to this page. After some boring back and forth, I asked if the caller knew which company she had called. She hung up in the middle of a sentence.

Called again.  REALLY?  Someone in CA is calling the east coast at 6:35 AM??  HA!  I just picked up and hung up since I recognized these bozos from before.

yes, they are calling to scam you.  After several calls from this number I finally answered the phone " Hi, I need to talk to your supervisor."  He put me on hold for one minute and got back on the line. I asked to be taken off the calling list and he actually started talking smack saying he didn't want to and didn't have to. I even went on to tell him the call was being recorded and that still didn't stop him. I had to hang up the phone and upon dialing the number back it is a cell phone that doesn't accept incoming calls. DO NOT ANSWER!!

Called office, knew it was gonna be a scammer - just the number and "California" in Caller ID - answered bc I have to, no response.  I said into nothingness "Yeah, I thought so" and hung up.  Will just pick up and hang up from now on.

I just got a call from this company telling me they were the printing company that prints the manuals for our copier. They just needed me to read off the model of our copier. I told him that if he needed to send me a new manual, he would already know what copier I had. He promptly hung up.

This number calls our office at least once a month. The say that they are the copier company and need me to read off what type of copier we have in our office.
This is a scam. If you tell them what type of copier you have then they send you the toner for it and charge you for it.

Don't give them any information about any copiers in your office.
