Thank you for posting this and making it visible on google! I literally just got the call on Friday from West Meadows (Noelle) and decided to do my due diligence before making the appointment. Sad I was duped but glad I'm not going now. I knew it was too good to be true!!

I got a phone call from 630-796-0634 from a person named Katrina or Karina. I was very suspicious She said that I had won a free round trip airfare and 2 night hotel stay for a 2 to Las Vegas. She literally said that she had 'pulled my name'.

I called her back and she said I had entered the raffle at a bridal show in Chicago in February. I did not attend a Bridal Show in Chicago in February. I pre-ordered 'free' tickets, but I did not attend. She said me ordering the tickets automatically entered me in the raffle. Same story as above...in Lombard.

West Meadow Travel or West Meadow Hotel

Looks at their website, I mean they have it set up so you can ever access it.

Cookies aren't ever suppose to be 'enabled' , cookies are suppose to be cleared...they store information about what websites you have visited before and have nothing to go with accessing new ones. POP-UPs are something you can enable or disable...but obviously they have no intention of you ever being able to access their website because it does not exist.

(I'm repeating the phrase "West Meadow Travel Scam" so that google with pickup this thread easier if someone googles it...)

I received a call from the same phone number.  The girl said her name was Katrina and I won a raffle at the Marriot Schaumburg Bridal show.  I won a 3 day vacation with round trip airfare to Vegas.

She asked if I was 21 because I had to be 21.  I said I was and she asked how old I was.  Tricky.  I was tricked and told her my age.  She also asked if my fiance and I lived at my address.  She said we needed to make an appointment to come in and learn about our travel vouchers that could be used for other locations besides Vegas and we would have an entire year to redeem them.  She said we needed to pick up the travel vouchers in Rolling Meadows.  She explained that this was through West Meadows Travel (Google them - they don't exist) and was a way for them to advertise.  We would have to listen to an hour preview of the company when we picked up our vouchers.  We would be responsible for paying the taxes for the trip since this was a raffle.  The redemption process is online.  I bet they somehow get your credit card number through this process.

Anyway I think the entire thing is a scam and I am angry that these scammers have any of my information!

So, my fiancé received a phone call from Meridian Travel yesterday stating that we had won a 3 day 2 night trip to Vegas.  They then asked him to verify his age and address and email address. Yes we did enter a raffle at the Chicago Bridal Expo, but the odd thing was we never gave out his number; only mine. Later that night they had called me with the same bit but got my voicemail instead. We thought time share immediately.

Today, they called again. I believe her name was Michelle.  She congratulated me and asked me to verify my information.  When I told her that they had contacted my fiancé she acted so surprise and kept claiming that it must have been some other company.  Honestly what couple wins two different contests to the same destination on the same day from two different companies?!? I mean come on lady. If you wanted my info to scam me, at least be a little more creative than that.

Anywho, I googled Meridian and Lo and behold I got to this site and everyone is screaming scam scam.  Technically it's not a scam if you do your research but the trip isn't entirely free if you count 90 min info meeting you'll have to sit through or the tax/fees factor needed to book the trip.  Either way, this is not one road I'm willing to travel so good luck to the next person they call. Hopefully it won't be my mom who's next...
