These idiots called my mom's house, not once, nor twice, but three times, on a Sunday morning, starting at 9:10am.

I was crystal clear with the FIRST CALLER and said:
1, you just woke me up and I'm not going to speak to you;
2, you do NOT have my permission to call back;
3, we're NOT interested in what you're selling.

Yet, 30 minutes later -  and each half hour until I finally blew a cork, these raging idiots continued to call back, with their heavily indian accent, with repeated requests to speak with my father...

Well, I said:  That would be impossible considering my father died in 1975.  Finally - the caller hung up, and did NOT call back a 4th time!

I have had the same experience with National Gifting Center (only in Atlanta).  The number coming through is 404-287-0604.  They tell me I'm entered in sweepstakes because of something to do with my credit.  Then they start asking questions about marital status, age, occupation, etc.  They try to send me some "free" magazine subscriptions.

They are marketing for a time share company trying to get you to their sales presentation.  Did a search for National Gifting Center Fraud and found someone who went along with the call and showed up to choose their gift.  They were made to sit through a marketing presentation for Starpoint Resort Group.  http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/answers2/frontend ... 24181027AAe2hBx

This company has an unsatisfactory rating on the Better Business Bureau website.

haha...they called me and asked if I remembered filling out a coupon for American Airlines.  They said well you did, and it was selected as a grand prize winner!

Strange, he said it was filled out "last christmas season", with my current address and phone number....when I didn't have either this address, or phone number, until June.  Obviously I knew it was a scam, but I played along.

They wanted me and my 30-70 year old wife/girlfriend to come to some local address tomorrow so they can give me my prize....right.

I too received a call and was provided this num when asked to provide his contact details which are as follows

It seems I or some of my family member filled up a coupon and won a free private jet flight for 3days 4 nights offered by Hilton group to fly to any of the 60 destinations that we can choose from. It was easy to conclude to be a scam.

He was asking me provide the details like .. my age, marrital status. Before he went on .. I told the guy I don't trust him and asked to provide his details which are as above. Also asked him his address he said NGC (national gift center) and he provided similar address close to mine with the same zipcode (I guess he's just trying to be smart). I just told him that I will call back. What a scam. Glad I came across this page when I first googled for the phone number provided.

Received a call from the "national gifting center" and claimed I filled out a coupon a year ago and so he called me, as I "won" two of five prizes and just had to go to their center to pick them up.  Had a strong accent and claimed to be from Chicago, caller ID verified Illinois.  I said I was on the "do not call" list and he said it didn't matter, I had filled out a coupon.  I doubt I did, but can't prove that I didn't.  Obvious telemarketer scam.
