I said helo hello and nothing but dead air.

On 2 November 2010 @ 5:15 PM the Wife got a  wireless call  from 630-523-2263. Female caller asked " Do you want to take a short water survey". The Wife said "our well water is fine". Caller did not identify herself.

Called at 7:40pm, 2/24/10, and did not respond after I said 'hello.'  I waited through the silence, heard a computer-like beep and then the line disconnected.

Continues ti call, hangs up when VM answers.

After answering phone, dead air.

Phone number is listed on caller ID.  When I called back it said the number was disconnected and no longer in use.

Incoming call delayed 30 seconds til it dropped to a free operator. Said that she was in my area today testing H2O. Identified herself as "Marisa" when I challanged. Told her that was impossible seeing as our watchdog would have caught her. She chuckled and hung-up. This a typical Boiler Room operation using an auto-dialer system. They start at (xxx)xxx-0000/9999. After 25 years at Ameritech, I dealt with hundreds of these. If your really concerned, EVERYBODY should file Police Reports and possibly the Elmhurst Police will react. "Number Disconnected" should be "Number cannot receive incoming calls" recording.

I received the same call with the same  recorded  "good bye".

Received a phone call at 7:12 (20 Oct 09) pm & an adult female caller asked if "do you have city or well water?" My wife said "hang on a moment" & they immediatly hung up. We received a simular call like this about a year ago.

Got the call today on my cell, Looks like they ( who ever they are ) using local disocnnected number to spoof to people to pick the phone and/or by pass privacy manager !.

stayed on line, then heard a computer voice say "goodbye"

Dead air and call back stated disconnected

Got call, no one answered.

Just received a call from this number, no on was on the line.  Called number back and got the "disconnected" message.

Two days in a row. Called and left a 2 1/2 BLANK voice message.

I heard the someone talking on answering machine in the other room, message was listed and when trying to redial it said the number was disconnected

I said hello and they said is this.....which was me then they hung up. It was listed as Elmhurst, IL.  When I called back it said it was disconnected.
