The last statement is true. I received calls from the Farmindl NY number as well, when I would answer, they would not respond. I goggled the number, came up with this site and called the 800 number listed. First call went like this. I'm being contacted by farmingdal NY number, what's this regarding? They transferred me; I got on a man on the phone who wanted my number, and my name. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving information unless he tells me what his company is about, he then disconnected the call. GREAT!!!! So I called back, stated I wanted to file a grievance with their company for harassment, and was then asked regarding what. I told her I live in S. Korea this number keeps calling me at all hours of the night, I have a 1 yr old, and then once I do answer no one responds, then to boot... I get hung up on, once I do get a hold of someone. She then asked me for my 7 digit number without area code. Long and behold... they have my number listed as someone else, for collections... the lady respectfully removed my number from their system, and hopefully I won’t be getting anymore calls from these idiots!

i received a letter from these people saying i owed $14 for a magazine subscription. I found their site, and chose to pay using my Pay Pal account. When I clicked the link it sent me to what looked like a PayPal page, but on the top of the page was a blank check. On it was the name of this company's president and the words"donation"  were written on it. I was supposed to type in the amount I was "donating".  The email addy was "markdoan@msn.com". So, I called them and they said "that's the way we do it". I told them I wasn't filling out anything I owed in a check made out to this guy where it was written "donation". What the heck is that about. So, I've paid the magazine directly.

I've been receiving calls that show up as:  "Farmingdale NY" with the number of 631-270-3516. The first call comes in with this identity, and all subsequent calls within the same approximate time frame show up as a series of numbers, such as "3050000104" and "2000000601" while displaying "name unavailable".

I found that these calls are coming from a company called "Sunrise Credit Services" whose contact number is actually 800 645 9824. They are a collections agency representing Cablevision/Optimum (Online, Voice) on delinquent accounts. In my case, they were calling to inform me that I hadn't returned a cable box and wanted payment for it.

It appears Sunrise Credit Services works out of 260 Airport Plaza, in Farmingdale, NY. The phone number and name of "Lend America" is not theirs, and it's my understanding that they're not affiliated with one another. This implies that Sunrise Credit Services intentionally displays false caller ID information in an attempt to disguise their true business.

You go girl I hate them they pretend they are above and beyond us I guess this is who is calling me now I know not to answer thank you??.And I hope you are back to work in the same position today

This number has been calling me every 5 minutes to half an hour for 3 days, no messages,  and I don't owe anyone, so it can't be legit. How do you get them to go away when you can't reach anyone??

I get two to three calls in a row from this number.  It rings twice and then a hang up.  If I answer then nothing.  I have no idea who this is.

I keep receiving calls from 631-270-3516 as many as 10 times a day and they allways hang up and will not answer a return call. How do I report this?

they call, they hang up, they have plenty of money, so send me some of the money they throw away, I am retired and could use it before I go under.

Harassing calls is illegal. Report them to the FCC and have her arrested.

Just got the exact same thing just 30 seconds ago!! Between these types of calls and the Credit Services bogus calls I am just about ready to have my phone disconnected.  :)

CALLS - CALLER ID STATES FARMINGDALE, NY WITH THIS ID.  THEN SEVERAL UNKNOWN CALLS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Wanted to know who I was but I don't give that information out.  My name is privileged and private information.  She wouldn't say who she was calling from so I hung up.  Gave 866-232-5824 as the return number on my answering machine before I picked up the phone to find out who was calling.

i got the same call yesterday and today it just ring 1 time same thing tried to call them but busy i don t know but  i do have a credit collection company callin me for 1500 but u have to be difficult with them cuz they r rude now they don t call me anymore they told me they gonna take me to court but never believe them that s their game they don t even send me letters anymore

This number has been calling me for weeks now and they just hang up when I answer and I get a busy signal when I call back.  Yesterday I got five anonymous calls in a row every seven minutes I am assuming it is the same people.  So how do I get this to stop? Who do I have to call?????

This company calls my work place and cell number several times a week.  They are looking for a bum by the name of Carlos Jovel I have told to take me off the calling list and I have been ignored. WHAT CAN I DO? How do I report this abuse?

I received a call form this #. I called back few times and just got busy signal. Annoying to say the least....

I am getting repeated calls from this number.  WHen I answer, there is a hang up.  It is very annoying.  I will report this number to the do not call list.

Tonight I received a very disturbing phone call from Sunrise Credit Services in regards to a delinquent cablevision account. It is not the purpose of the call that was disturbing, but the manner in which the representative spoke to me and then hung up.

In a nut shell, I explained to her that I was currently unemployed, like many people during this time, and that was why I was unable to pay the bill. The representative, 'Michelle" says to me: "is that gonna be ur excuse for the rest of your life?" And when I said excuse me, she then said, "did I stutter? You heard me." And hung up the phone.

I was devastated, insulted and down right furious. That is what lead me to my search for the number. If it is an attempt to collect a debt, then do so. What's with the name calling? Thanks to this website, I was able to contact the company, speak to a supervisor, and file a formal complaint.

I have received the same as above...(numerous) call comes in, answer it and get hung up on.  Today I called the number and it is a company called Lend America.  I spoke to a supervisor and told them to remove my number from their database and refused to give them my name.  If I receive another call from them, I will report it since I have been on the "Do Not Call" list for quite sometime.

We normally get 10 calls a call and the call ID says Unknown, I picked up a few times and noone is ever there.  Well tonight 631-270-3516 came through the caller id on a half of a ring.  The phone rang again immediately and it said Unknown so I am assuming these 10 calls a day I get are from this new number and the caller Id says Farmingdl,NY
